Something's broken, what do I do?

What do we draw?

>Whatever you want. At this point there's no required topic so draw your heart out. Make sure you submit at least a half hour of work or you may get a low effort warning.

What's a low effort warning?

>The goal is to get people to draw every day by turning it into a competition. The low effort warning system is to prevent people from posting last minute, quick sketches when they're feeling lazy. If you receive a warning and it happens again within a month you'll be eliminated.

>This rule has been the cause of a lot of concern amongst newer artists so let me reiterate: this system is to police low effort content and has nothing to do with the quality of the work. New artists are more than welcome.

What happens if I'm eliminated?

>Your streak will go back to 0 and you will have to start again. No other penalties.

How can there be a new Last Artist Standing challenge every week?

>There is no week system anymore, instead new users are given "streaks" based on the number of consecutive days you can submit without getting eliminated. (token losses do not reset your streak)

Will I have an advantage if I join later in the week?

>The winner of a Last Artist Standing will be the artist with the longest streak. If you join on day 1 and last until day 85 then you'll have a streak of 85. If there's only one person left in the challenge when you're eliminated but they joined on Day 7 then they'll need to continue on for another week. If they're eliminated before then, you win.

What does my work lack?

Is las basically berserk? We are the band of hawk and lava was griffith. He had a dream of gitting gud and in the end e sacrificed all of las so he could try to achieve his dream. + On Day 1, seriously examine the blog/gallery/LAS account of your assigned user. Think critically. What do they suck at? What do they clearly feel comfortable doing?
! SHORTLY AFTER THE CHALLENGE STARTS, I WILL RANDOMLY ASSIGN USERS THEIR TARGET, AND SUBMIT IT. PLEASE VIEW THE SUBMISSION TO KNOW WHO YOU'RE CHALLENGING.
+ Through some means of communication, assign them a challenge based on what you perceive to be their weaknesses. If their perspective sucks, give them a related challenge, like constructing architecture from imagination. Or maybe all they do is quick sketches, and you want to push them to "complete" a piece for once. Or maybe they draw mechanical objects too much, and you want to push them to draw animals and plants instead.
! If you can't find a reliable avenue of communication, simply submit an "image" to the challenge stating your challenge, using some throwaway service like imgur.
+ If they're a complete beginner, just try to find a challenge that will expand their skillset or point them in the right direction if lost.
+ On the following week (Day 2 - 8), dedicate at least 30 minutes daily towards drawing things relevant to your challenge. Your final submission should be 7 days of work, for a total of 210 minutes. Feel free to spend more time on it, though.
- This challenge is not a cheap way to get commissions. Construct your challenge seriously, with your partner's artistic improvement in mind. i.e. Don't tell your partner to draw dragon dildos for the entire week.

Draw bigger for sure. Attach your head to the rest of the body, even if it's just hinted. This way you will have a more general and logical overview.
Instead of drawing those body parts randomly on your paper, align them to keep some ratio.

sum up: Pick up a reference, take your paper horizontaly, draw 3 aligned heads, face/profil/three quarter.

He's only just over 100 days and I think he left back in December or something. He only just started submitting today, there's weak1s who've been here for a whole year who don't even get mentioned. I wish there was a way to get more interactivity in the community tho.

That's not how art works, it's a long progress and the quality of what you put out right now is not important, what does matter however is that you draw a lot, enjoy the process and target study the things your most shit at, stop complaining and keep to yourself
