Anybody have anything else like this? Dumping what I have.
>ITT helpful pics
anybody want a specific subject? I might have it in my collection.
sadly no. But I'll tell you what, take an axe, and hit a defrosted turkey right in the stomach with it, then draw that. it's just as good.
Don't have a lot but I'll share. I also have a two-part cloud tutorial from Yuumei.
These are a bit stylized, but not much at all.
The brush pack this walks through is from/used by this guy: http://danluvisiart.deviantart.com/gallery/
He has a couple of tutorials he does too I hear.
The brush source (the dowload buttons at the topish right): http://danluvisiart.deviantart.com/art/My-Brush-Pack-118954791
Sorry, you can find all those brushes on her account. The link: http://yuumei.deviantart.com/art/Cloud-Tutorial-Part-1-396507964
Link for brushes is in artist comments, don't remember if it's instant or not, that's why I didn't link the brushes directly.
yeah, I got that, It's just... sometimes tutorials annoy the fuck out of me. Like, with IRL paint you have to use the brushes you have, but then you go on a digital tutorial and it's always
>Wanna learn to make your picture look vintage!
>>First download my vintage photo filter
>Wanna learn how to make realistic blood splatters?
>>First go to google and find some nice blood splatter textures
You never actually learn anything practical most of the time. it's just a series of 'how to use this one unique tool I developed for this one unique instance'
at the end of the day all you end up with is a messy tool tab.
I see what you mean. This is just something I had. You could do a lot on your own with basic brushes and the smudge tool.
As for vintage looking shit
>create black border (opt)
>create layer with a bunch of colors on it, depending on what sort of vintage you want
> multiply and change opacity
Easy stuff, although doing scratches and stuff is harder.
I really appreciate these, but holy shit is that tumblr nose starting to get to me. I've never been upset about it before until this picture towards the end where it just becomes inescapable
some scans i collaged from "atlas of human anatomy for the artist"
Cool, didn't remember that in his sketchbook. I know he has two other process shots in his sketchbook, one for a woman on a balcony at night overlooking a city, and one for a victorian couple standing in a steampunk street scene. He's also got the process on his blog of the winter horseman.
>tutorial to draw a vagina
>everything is blurred
If any of you guys are on tumblr and need anatomy references, particularly including breasts and vags, follow thepureskin.tumblr.com if you haven't, it's a nude blog. I've heard others use it, and I've used it myself.
the thing to remember about vagina is that vagina is instead of balls on a guy, so the vagina is where the balls go. the clit is instead of dick so clit goes where dick is, but clit is small so appears lower. this is tao of vagina.
>"hey mr art guy I'll give you 120 if you draw my Wafiu with a big fucking horsecock. And it has to be antomically perfect or else you aren't getting the second half"
One day you will look back on this thread and say, thank you /ic/.
Drawing horsecocks on females allowed me to order pizza tonight and nearly flush out the dollar store
Nothing is ever a mindblock.
It is your mind being lazy, so it fills in the gaps by symbol drawing
take a breather and try your hardest to look and observe shapes, with what is actually going on.
>no one posting the classics
I am dissappoint, /ic/
Halifax? Sorry mate you're screwed, I've only ever known of one artist to have lived there in all my years of being on art communities online. He moved to Montreal too cause there was jack shit in Halifax.
I've been doing that a lot but I have found out that it's actually fun to draw a curve and force a figure frame on it no matter how difficult.
Also, the same curve needs to be used for 3 different orientations of the frame.
like one from the front, one from the back, one from the side or three quarter ,etc.
dude those dicks are way bigger than mine no wonder why my ex wife cheated on me with so many frickin black dudes!!!!!!! then they came over, frickin slapped me and made me cry, and banged my hot wife right in front of me!!!
just make two separate ones that's what I plan on doing this fall it does mean you'll need two different styles though so people can trace you back up i'm up for the challenge

>wow man, thats really nice. It reminds me of Michael Hampton's figure drawing book. Is that what this is from?
it's not. i forget where it's from or who drew it, but it's not hampton. it's from a set i have archived somewhere, i could post the rest of it if anyone is interested.
actually fuck it i'm uploading it anyway.
also while i'm at it. i might as well dump some kevin chen here since he's god-tier.
you can find the rest of these here: http://www.angelfire.com/art3/kchendemos/
Holy motherfucking shit! I saved almost ever picture on that site
That guy draws a LOT, god damn I need to get cracking. His legs are amazing. This is just what I needed, thanks anon!
Here's a tutorial on male body types.
I feel the male body is really under-represented here, probably because it's much more fun to look at naked women.
>other peoples notes and studies
It's like you guys don't know how to study yourself. Did you even learn how to take and use notes effectively in highschool? Your sketchbook is your notebook, make these images for yourself.

Wait till you see the chart for facial proportions...
That looks like Kei Nanjou from Persona 1
