I've got some stuff from old illustrators. Cornwell, Loomis, Lovell, Schaeffer, that sort of stuff (all hi res for them, although maybe only 20 images each). My Cornwell collection actually is pretty extensive (3 folders for him for some reason lol, one of them is 150 hi res images that you won't find easily online, but they are almost all preparatory work and sketches).

I love Wes to death. forgive me if my request sounded down putting. It really wasn't. I just wanted to see maybe some actual storytelling. Emotions, people doing things, ideas being put together cleverly within the frame of an image, etcetc.

Yeah, his torrents are nice. Nice guy too in real life. Some of my Sargent material came from him...but I've added to it a lot. The Sargent folder is complete at over 2300 files, although probably up to a couple hundred are duplicates of varying quality. Cheers, one of the sources that I grabbed a lot of hte images had them and I felt they were worth including. There are also a few images by other artists in there (Rubens, some scultures, Velazquez etc)...these are for comparison to some of his master copies that are included.

Thanks. There's a few duplicates though. And the number is a bit higher because I found a few shots from that showed super closeups on the brushwork, and also some showing how the paintings are set up in the rooms of the museums. Still there are a ton of images though :D

I originally set it up for personal use and thought someone here might find it useful.
It's basically just an online library for those that don't want to download every god damn thing, or only want to pick and choose a few they'd like to have saved, all in one place. Not a mass download directory.

Another anon suggested he would set something similar up later for /ic/ specifically with download links possibly included. Just keep an eye out for that, or download all the shit in this thread yourself. My dropbox account isn't large enough to accommodate that in the long run.

Not too good at this high-fangled technology but I did go to a few shows with the artists in the dropbox and have a good amount of closeups of their works. (Like, I went to the Kanevsky show, and I've been collection from all the museums I've been to so I have details of waterhouse, rembrandt, eakins, etc.) Is there a way I can add those to the collection? I feel like they're not outstanding enough to make a .zip of them by themselves but they're nice to look at if you're into paint handling.
