the issue isn't the request threads being started by the ones requesting, but rather artists who are bored opening them and offer requests.

Request threads are OK but they feel like one too many nowadays. No harm no foul but I'd like to see some drawings just for laughs and giggles sometime. Then again, I'm new here so it'll relatively be a slow board for me and my new-ness.
