>some guy post stellar picture in their thread
>some guy gets mad as fuck and spends 20 minutes posting GG here.
We went from Page 3 to dead in about 3 hours yesterday. Still seems fishy. Too bad you can't actually talk to moderation staff around here to get an explanation as to why our threads hit bump limit randomly and others do not.
If you go right now to the last pages and take a look around, you'll see a post in every thread made around the same time. Most of those posts are just text replies, though a few are images. The chances of this happening by pure coincidence are pretty much zero.
That being said, the mods are not necessarily in on it. We can assume they're the ones preventing our threads from bumping because they're the ones with the power to do that, but once we're autosageing, literally any person or group of people can take the time to bump all bumpable threads and post new threads to drop all unbumpable threads off the board.
>Too bad you can't actually talk to moderation staff around here
From the FAQ:
>If you believe an error has been made, or you are being mistakenly affected by a ban meant for somebody else, contact a moderator on IRC at #4chan @ Rizon. Moderators are available to assist users with bans and technical issues on the website.
I've contacted mods via irc in the past and they were very helpful. In this case, however, I'm guessing they would either not know about it, since this might be a decision coming from a single mod, and if they do know about it, they might not want to say anything so we don't get even more butthurt.
An honest reply would probably be along the lines of
>your thread is cancer and we want you off /hr/, but you're not breaking the rules, so we autosage instead of deleting and banning the poster
I'm purely speculating here, but they might have an issue with our threads being mostly discussions, while the celebrity threads are mostly pics. We're also more active than each celebrity thread individually. And it's much less work to do something against one or two generals instead of over half of the whole board. Or maybe we could be getting punished for crimes committed by other kpop threads in other boards.
You're damn ugly, leave qtUmji alone
>FIESTAR - Pajamas style best 5
Their ranking was almost the opposite of mine.
>After School Club - Lovelyz
Damn, their live singing is on point. Great stuff. Also, I didn't know Miju was such a good speaker.
Thanks for the links, bro.
Best one's too small:
I think the Stellar album will have even more pictures like these. I strongly advise you anon to buy it through Makestar for the autograph.
DO NOT TALK SHIT ABOUT STELLAR
wow i never knew korea had a gravure like this
>scrolls through that dudes instagram
holy shit he was responsible for those lewd sulli pics she keeps posting on her instagram.
A rar of everything that seemed vaguely feminine.
There will be a photobook by Rotta with the album.
하늘하늘 is a popular "lolita" underwear model. She's one of the girls in that guy's photobook but I think that pic was from another photoshoot.
I think Vibrato is really good, but everything else has been lackluster. Don't get me wrong, my original post was positive. I have high hopes for this new album since so much money has been pooled into it.
She literally did nothing wrong. You can't idiot proof everything. The Chinese nationalists and dickless officials making this an issue have no good reason for doing what they are doing so they can't be accounted for in preventative behavior or reasoned with.
These are just the conservative asian equivalent of SJWs. They are looking for excuses to be outraged and no amount of kowtowing to their whims will prevent that desire.
Sure. But if you are from said rogue province it needs to be noted as such, because it is the truth. If Tzuyu had said she's from the People's Republic of China and held up a red and gold flag she would be a delusional liar. What these mainland nationalists want isn't even coherent. They want a teenage girl to lie about the most basic facts of her life because they can't stand a reality where people from taiwan are objectively not from the PRC?
There's being touchy about independence and then there's attacking people for merely mentioning the fact Taiwan exists. There is no way to account for this insanity. Tzuyu could not have done a thing to prevent this because the position is so unreasonable.
There will be elections soon on Taiwan. The pro-china president candidates are estimated to loose. Most young people consider themselves Taiwanese and dont want an united China lead from Beijing.
I'm quite sure he's loving it. Twice are hot shit right now; this just elevates them even higher and gains them recognition where they wouldn't usually be noticed and by people who wouldn't usually be interested.
This. To me there is a disconnect between lolita shit and the concept of youthfulness. They're adults with obvious curves. I think these articles show less about a culture of lolita and more of a culture inexperienced in what is truly inappropriate and disgusting if they think these shoots are disgusting.
I wonder what they think of those documentaries where adult men wear a diaper and pretend to be an actual baby.
Taiwan is an island and chinks are really mad that they can't take it over by force. But they will try to challenge any mention of Taiwan as an independant nation in international arena. Punishing a kpop group that wants to promote in china is an easy target and will send a nice message to others
To the guy who KEEPS asking
I bought the album today. You don't have to fully checkout to get the shipping cost... It's $20.7 for Europe but it's equally steep pretty much everywhere, e.g. about $15 for Japan right next door. Still worth it.
>To the guy who KEEPS asking
if your a cross~dresser?....seriously don't post anymore images off your phone
Stellar are Gravure tier now... Why they are not on japan doing this class of shit instead of making music? Even I will bet that they could earn much more money with this kind of work, so they will not have to deal with more "sponsors" and other abusers...
at least in Korea... LOL
Chengxiao, Exy, Eunseo, and Seola "Play-File"(?) teasers. Seems like one per day.
Trust me; you don't want to see her face pop up when you're scrolling through instagram. It is truly frightening.
If you are interested in her pics, I'm sure there is a tumblr out there that reposts all her stuff.
Girls suddenly become less cute without bangs. This is especially true with Hyuna. She looks like a freak when her forehead is exposed.
The Taiwan Relations Act potentially requires the U.S. to intervene militarily if the PRC attacks or invades Taiwan. The act states that "the United States will make available to Taiwan such defense articles and defense services in such quantity as may be necessary to enable Taiwan to maintain a sufficient self-defense capabilities”. However, the decision about the nature and quantity of defense services that America will provide to Taiwan is to be determined by the President and Congress. America's policy has been called "strategic ambiguity" and it is designed to dissuade Taiwan from a unilateral declaration of independence, and to dissuade the PRC from unilaterally unifying Taiwan with the PRC.
The act further stipulates that the United States will "consider any effort to determine the future of Taiwan by other than peaceful means, including by boycotts or embargoes, a threat to the peace and security of the Western Pacific area and of grave concern to the United States".
This act also requires the United States "to provide Taiwan with arms of a defensive character", and "to maintain the capacity of the United States to resist any resort to force or other forms of coercion that would jeopardize the security, or the social or economic system, of the people on Taiwan." Successive U.S. administrations have sold arms to Taiwan in compliance with the Taiwan Relations Act despite demands from the PRC that the U.S. follow the legally non-binding Three Joint Communiques and the U.S. government's proclaimed One-China policy (which differs from the PRC's One-China Policy).
the maybe is all it takes to dissuade this prc tho
even if the us doesn't militarily intervene, they would most likely embargo and ruin the prc's economy since the two are each other's biggest (i assume) trade partners.
Well I guess this BTFOs the idea that getting poon on the reg is a certain cure for waifuism.
old one to end
>The script just said, 'Lie in bed then sit up' 'Drip milk while you drink as you long for someone'.
>We were shocked after we learned what all these references had meant
>shocked after we learned
I want to believe.
>Junyool: I want to try a sexy concept that's [more toned down] and just on the level of hearing "It's pretty".
>Hyoeun: I want us to promote with a song that we can all enjoy together. Perhaps there won't be excessive skin exposure.
they must of forgot this when they took those milky pantsu pics of junyool
>With time still left on her contract, Heo Youngji will remain under DSP Media as a solo artist. The agency is planning to do their utmost to help her succeed and develop in the future.
>Hara is also rumored to be speaking with KeyEast Entertainment, which houses big name Bae Yong Joon, because of its ties with promotions in Japan and its experience handling artists who are both singers and actors. Though she's allegedly focusing on acting, it seems that she also has plans to promote as a solo singer.
>1 Japanese Yen equals 10.36 South Korean Won
>1 US Dollar equals 1215.67 South Korean Won
>1 Chinese Yuan equals 184.53 South Korean Won
No wonder groups are always promoting overseas. The won is worthless.
Won is more like cents, but a thousandth, so ..mills? millis? The size of their smallest money unit doesn't really mean what you imply, but there is maybe a 30% 'gain' via purchasing power.
>1 US Dollar equals 1215.67 South Korean Won
Numbers are irrelevant. What matters is what you can get for 1215.67 won in korea and one dollar in US
I'm not sure how Korean money works, but things seem to be a lot more expensive there. I've seen a single banana selling for the equivalent of 2 USD. I can buy a pound of bananas for 80 cents. Many idols say they live on 100 USD or less a month and are constantly asking other people to pay for things.
>Hello everyone, I am Tzuyu.
I am sorry. I should have apologized earlier but because I didn't know how to deal with current situation, I didn't have the courage to face everyone. There is only one China. Taiwan & China(?) are one. I am proud that I am Chinese. As a Chinese, when promoting overseas, due to my negligence, I had caused my company as well as the friendly relationship between Taiwan & China harm. For that, I am very regretful & guilty.
I have decided to halt all my activities in China & seriously reflect.
Once again, I would like to apologize to everyone. I'm sorry.
What the fuck?
Does JYP think that after this, China will open their arms embracing K-pop again? He's obviously adding fuel to the fire and dragging innocent Tzuyou on this. Just stay the fuck quiet.
She's taiwanese not chinese.
>uploaded 39 minutes ago
>+10k dislikes already
This comment sums it up nicely:
>I'm honestly laughing at how stupid JYP is. Is he risking all of Taiwan hating on a 16 year old girl, who is Taiwanese, because he is worried about TWICE's advancement in China? Well, the damage was already done, this will only escalate things.
I can go to Korea and get one of these, already chilled and ready to drink for like 1500 won, that's a buck 20!
In the liquor stores here, a bottle of that'll run you like 6 dollars! That's 7307 won!
Surely the won is superior in every way, amirite.
>Junyool: Actually we thought 'Fool' was just going to be a side song, we didn't know we would end up promoting with it.
>Gayoung: We thought the song wasn't all that good, but the agency pushed us saying that it's a song that makes people think of their first love.
>Hyoeun: We were persuaded in the end by the agency, but it didn't turn out well. Later on, we even tried to change our outfit to a sexy one, but it just didn't fit together with the song, so it was a big failure.
>Gayoung: 2 weeks after we began promotions, the agency told us "We're sorry" and "From now on, we will follow your opinions."
>I've seen a single banana selling for the equivalent of 2 USD
Did you just take Reply 1988 as reference for that? I remember that scene.
>I'm not sure how Korean money works
You just exchange a piece of paper for goods and services, nothing fancy about it. With around 500 Wons you can buy gum, so that previous analogy was really stupid.
That is incorrect, though.
This apology is for the companies, to show reconciliation. While the opinion of the Chinese netizens matters, it's not conclusive to the case (see recently IU); it was the best way to put an end to this (on his side, c-netz will bitch about it, like they always do).
On a positive side, this wasn't like with T-ARA in their home country; in a couple of years we'll see our Chewy being bored and posting on Instagram while the other members are in China.
>[+2,410, -90] What country in the world would apologize for a Taiwanese person holding their own Taiwanese flag? This is so ridiculous that it's making me angry. What would a 17 year old girl know that they're being like this to her? Tzuyu-ya, please find strength, you did nothing wrong.
They see no reason for apology.
Article: The light and shadow of KARA's 9 years... why DSP doesn't use the word 'disbandment'
Source: Yonhap News via Naver
Article speculates that while DSP did announce that three members would be leaving the company, they never officially used the word 'disbandment' anywhere in their official statement, leaving prospects for a future reunion left open.
1. [+3,846, -121] Even if they reunite in the future, there are still a lot of issues to consider. They'll have to decide between reuniting as Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara, Nicole, and Jiyoung as 5 or with Youngji as 4. To the public, the 5 will be remembered more. I'm not sure why DSP felt the need to add Youngji and put her in an awkward spot.
2. [+2,143, -86] Probably so that they get to keep the rights to their reunification if it were to happen in the future. DSP acting dirty until the very end.
3. [+1,948, -48] A shame because KARA shines brighter when they're together.
4. [+1,296, -22] DSP technically never announced FinKL was disbanded either but look at them now ㅋ
5. [+883, -161] I really do hope they'll reunite again in the future
6. [+227, -16] Youngji may have gained a lot for a rookie but I'm sure she didn't join KARA for the purpose of only staying for a year... it's an unfortunate situation for her all around.
7. [+145, -6] KARA was at their peak when they had Nicole and Jiyoung. If the group really were to reunite in a few years, then that leaves Youngji in a very awkward position.
8. [+127, -5] KARA has never really been KARA since Nicole and Jiyoung left...
9. [+115, -4] Even if they do get back together, I don't want it to be under DSP...
10. [+103, -5] This group would've never disbanded if CEO Lee Ho Yeon was well enough to still run the company
11. [+95, -5] I think the true KARA was when they were 5. They had their own color, their own charismatic performances then.
12. [+92, -6] To think that there was once a time that DSP was considered a top 3 company ㅋㅋㅋ.... ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
13. [+73, -1] DSP basically wants them to pay them if they're going to use the KARA name in the future
The episode contained only the foreign members. The Japanese members were given a Japanese and a Korean flag, and Tzuyu was given a Taiwanese and a Korean flag.
Wow, you know what, I bet Tzuyu actually went to the producers and suggested they get those flags in the first place. And then when they gave her a Chinese flag, she set it on fire and demanded a Taiwanese one, otherwise she'd walk out. This was clearly an act of political activism. I mean, she's 17 after all, there's no way she'd innocently wave around whichever flags she was given on a TV show.
calm your tits, I didn't say that Tzu went on some kind independance campaign, but she's not clueless like that comment suggested. it was mostly an oversight by the show producers/JYP, just as I thought. but now the idol has to take the blame, because, well she gets all the praise if anything goes right.
Don't tell my tits what to do, you're not my mom.
I wouldn't even call it an oversight. You can't predict what every nutcase out there will get offended by. This was such a non-issue that it happened in November, and only in January did some ultra-nationalist asshole hear about it and start whining. Red Velvet's MV showing a plane flying around the WTC was an oversight. This flag thing is just a scandal being pulled out of thin air.
this is 3 years old but it seems like it would be at least an issue they would know the severity of.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdPJtIpw73A if they were never planning on doing anything in china then maybe but there is always a chance.
hfw he got arrested anyway for making the video
So what you're telling me is that, by stopping Tzuyu from promoting in China, this scandal has actually saved her from being abducted, tortured and killed by the Chinese Gestapo?
it's very well known how autistic china can be about taiwan. and the fact that one guy managed to stirr up a shitstorm that caused JYP to stop promotons in china only illustrates it.
If I remember correctly, they said they had bought the art used in the MV and didn't think of inspecting it for offensive themes. So the idea of including those images came from the original artist and not from within SM itself.
While watching my financial crush June Yoon in the evenings, the other Hong Kong announcers like Emily Tan were reporting that various company CEO's in China are just "missing" some days and haven't been heard from while being "investigated" by Chinese authorities, it sounds worrying as fuck.
Why have they got to be like that? It's some sort of deep seated insecurities.
Well I can understand them investigating corruption and trying to clean up financial systems etc. but why do everything in such an opaque manner.
Just do it with the rule of law out in the open. Why all the cloak and dagger shit?
The only thing expensive that I can tell is expensive, as a foreigner watching shows, is Korean beef; which makes sense if they don't have enough land to produce it. Since Korea has one of the busiest ports in the world and they're really globalized I see no point of a particular fruit being expensive, unless it's not consumed regularly.
I could be wrong though, maybe I'm missing something.
Are you perhaps implying it was avoidable? are you the kind of people that, after knowing every little detail now, thinks it was so easy to predict?
The only reason that people are paying attention to that Chinese idiot is because elections are close and the Chinese market is going down. Anything is useful to get people's attention from important issues. Also remember that it was a nobody with mental issues (literally, not trying to offend) that caused T-ARA to forget about being a top group in Korea, she's in jail now (not for that, she lied about a more serious issue).
>The only thing expensive that I can tell is expensive
Fuck, what was I thinking...
i totally said here that tzuyu's scandal will get her banned from china because JYP would not want to lose that much money
then I get "it's nothing, nothing will happen" here
now I feel bad for Tzuyu
The main culprit in the T-ARA scandal was some girl who said was Hwayoung's cousin, and she said "my cousin told me they were bullying her and that's why she was kicked out". And it all started from there, even when Hwayoung herself denied it.
She later appeared on national television saying she was a relative from someone on the ferry accident, and made up some lies. That was some fucked up stuff and she was accused of obstruction of justice (I think, could be something else).
>President Ma (the current President of Taiwan in his last days of office as the election is today) had expressed his regret at What happened to Tzuyu and that she shouldn't have been forced to apologise, saying that just because you wave the Taiwanese flag doesn't mean you are pro independent. This is because the flag she used is the flag used by most KMT supporters and is the old flag of China before the KMT were ousted by the PRC and fled to Taiwan. Some other political justification for why Tzuyu is innocent
Literally the president of Taiwan is involved, damn.
How much did you get charged for shipping?
The album is only $16 on kpopmart. ~$25 including shipping. You won't get the autograph or makestar bonuses of course, but it comes with the free album poster like all kpop albums (which you won't get if you buy through makestar).
Netizens still hate Hara for....reasons...
Article: [Exclusive] Goo Hara leaves DSP for Key East
Source: Herald Pop via Naver
1. [+3,306, -82] Don't tell me it's for acting???
2. [+3,314, -152] I wonder what they signed her for ㅋㅋ Can't act, can't sing ㅋㅋ
3. [+2,074, -82] Goo Hara can choco chip cookie all the way to Park Soo Jin's 'Tasty Road'
4. [+1,583, -73] Please not for acting;;;;;;
5. [+1,161, -60] But her acting.....
6. [+317, -18] Other than Kim Soo Hyun, Key East has been sweeping up all these actresses who have this immature image to them without much talent like Sohee, Son Dambi, Goo Hara, Han Ye Seul... no wonder all the talented ones like Im Soo Jung, Lee Na Young, and Choi Kang Hee all left.
7. [+178, -5] With Key East calling her, no wonder she didn't want to renew with DSP
8. [+199, -16] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Ifeel bad for her... ㅠ the entire country knows that she's bad at singing and acting ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I guess she's just going to spend her time shooting CFs with them
9. [+140, -4] She'd be perfect as a new 'Tasty Road' MC ㅋㅋ
10. [+120, -4] Kim Hyun Joong left DSP for Key East too
11. [+131, -21] She's really so pretty but.... can't sing or act.......
12. [+57, -2] Sounds like she'll be focusing on variety and acting then...
13. [+50, -3] Kim Soo Hyun-ssi, please do not renew your contract and leave as soon as you can. CJES or Namoo Actors would be a better fit. I feel like Key East is using Kim Soo Hyun.
cnetz are the sources. they're also saying the hate has decreased. and the Chinese government made a statement blaming the pro-independence Taiwanese for using Chewy for their agendas. and Twice was broadcast on government controlled CCTV.
the apology video worked.
STELLAR Gayoung's Birthday Party
Minhee's Birthday Party
If anyone can find or even remember the episode of Sixteen where the interviewer says to Tzuyu that lots of people were saying that she's pretty and then she gives that cute little giggle I'd be grateful. I need to see that again. I've been searching but there's so much to look through and it's only a tiny little bit.
What happened to Minah? She used to be the most popular. How did Yura surpass her?
don't worry, she will always be number 1 in my heart :3
stellar makes my peepee feel funny
they didn't go with sweettune this time
who is GDLO?
song sounds amazing from the teaser
Does anyone have T-ara - Do you know me? on bluray? The video I have choppy and the video quality is bad.
Here is the Japanese version for comparison.
Here's what you're getting if you choose the polaroid option.
>TwiceTV season 1
Oh yeah, it was on that.
At about 8.35. The video is kind of screwed though. nevar forget the cutiness
Why wouldn't you just post the link you huge mongoliod. You even said you found it but didn't help a struggling fellow kpop chingu out even if they were wrong. You've got a mean streak in you a mile wide.
Many more fancams from this date on youtube,

I found CL - Hello Bitches in .mov. The video quality is a lot better, but the audio is a little different.
at this size it might actually be a sign of a rodent.
