Confederacy achieves independence
Keeps its slaves and probably ends up like Brazil
Nation of rednecks and South African tier demographics

>George B. McClellan becomes president in 1864
>Sues for peace
>American diplomacy goes ice cold and the USA/CSA immediately start beefing over western territories
>Mexico smartens the fuck up and goes to war to reclaim parts of the southwest.
>They ally with the USA, dividing the CSA among themselves.
>Southerners disenfranchised by northern politicians for over a generation
>Slavery eventually abolished
>No more American Southwest
>Breaking Bad is considered the American remake of Metástasis.
It would turn into a shithole that would eventually be saved by Europe during the late 1800's.

A moderately prosperous state for a period of time, totally reliant on support from the United Kingdom and Royal Navy to maintain its independence though, due to the British Empire's reliance on Southern Cotton, though if the CSA enacts their cotton emabrgo early in the war as they historically did, then Britain will have turned to Egypt and their Indian colonies for even cheaper colony, so Confederate cotton prices would have to be dropped to horribly low levels to compete in their primary market, either they'll eventually seriously decline and be absorbed into the Union once more, or have to find an alternative major trade partner for the future, with France being the closest there is to another viable option
