Was it sociopathy?
>>
It'd be psychopathy, but that's really just a meme phrase and it isn't real.
>>
Fun is just a buzzword
>>
No, socialism
>>
No, autism.

By all accounts, he seemed to genuinely love his first wife, but that's the only argument I can think of for him NOT being a raging psycho.

So yeah probably OP.
>>
just another power hungry manlet

It all goes back to the banality of evil. Most of the evil dictators were led there on a path of good, or at least 'right' intentions. I'm sure he did love people, I'm sure he was a good person at some point in his life but when you're in a situation of power and that is your whole existence, the lives of Ukranian pig farmers probably doesn't warrant a second thought.

So yeah it pretty much was sociopathy.
>>
>>547099
If it was 'sociopathy', as you say, surely there would have been no good intentions in the first place?
>>
>>547112
I don't think its some disorder that you're born with, its a personality disorder that arises due to circumstances. Kind of like depression.
>>
>>547099
You are really missing the point of the banality of evil if you equate it with sociopathy.
>>
Reminder that while Stalin was obviously unhinged and paranoid, it was Lenin who was pure evil.
>>

Some people are born without conscience. While most sociopaths/psychopaths experience trauma in early life (and lord knows that Stalin did), there is the occasional one that just seems to be EXTREMELY bad luck.

Also, it's now widely accepted that psychopaths are incurable; if you don't have a conscience, you're not going to suddenly develop one.
>>
Tell me about stalin's early life!

Why did he terrorize his people?

While Lenin was undoubtedly evil, I don't think there are many people throughout history who caused as much suffering as little Soso.

The truth, we'll probably never know for sure who would've been worse, since Lenin died so early on.
>>
>>547277
Intentions also matter. Lenin killed people out of pure lust for power. At least Stalin had a creed, an ethos, something.
>>
it was atheism
>>

Josef Stalin was not a sociopath.

Post Trotsky if you want to show a real sociopath.
>>
>>547277
Lenin was far more evil than Stalin. By far.

You have to admit that Stalin saved Russia from true internationalist Bolshevism.
>>
From what I have read from people's personal accounts etc he could be a genuinely loving person, especially towards his first wife and his daughter. He apparently liked children a lot and I speculate that it might have been because children posed no threat to his own power. I think he suffered from extreme paranoia and saw everyone as a potential enemy who had to be dealt with. He was also quite willing to make sacrifices as part of what he saw as the bigger picture which I think shows that he struggled to have empathy for those he did not care for already.

What did Lenin do?
>>
>>549343
Crushed the soviet proletariat, disarmed them, castrated their political organs, disorganised their organic party structures, destroyed alternate bourgeois parties riding ontop of their organic structures, crushed the Makhnovishchina councils along with the rural proletariat, captured the tzarist bureaucracy intact and used it against the proletariat, reintroduced capitalism and wage labour.

The usual betrayals.

On the good side he authorised the deaths of a lot of aristocrats and bourgeois and intelligentsia.

>Goes on to endorse the murder of people because he read it in a book.

Does anyone see a pattern here?

No, your green text is incoherent. Stop implying and start stating.
