A couple things, the editing was fairly well done, better than most people's first, definitely. However, you should probably un-censor it and upload it to Pornhub and mega/mediafire, since as it is right now it's p much impossible to fap to, which defeats the purpose.

Also, for future reference, try to find RAWs of any hentai you use, the subtitles can be incredibly destracting. Aside from that, keep up the good work.

You should identify yourself with an artist handle so your stuff can be catalogued. It doesn't matter if you call yourself MassiveFaggot or anything. Just make it SOMETHING, because there WILL be a time 3 years from now when someone finds your video on a pornsite and decides that he desperately wants to see more of your work. Did you put an identifying tag like that in your HMV credits? Those are actually a lot better for the aforementioned situation than just naming yourself and not putting your handle into the credits, along with the music names and such.

Combining clips from hentai with music is literally how you make HMVs. I'm not sure what you mean. Nobody here who could be called an artist would post stuff they didn't make. If there are, they aren't mentioning it. Hentai is made by studios in Japan. Most hentai isn't made for the purpose of being musical, either, although I can recall at least one hentai that literally was a bunch of girls singing and fucking, which is "Honoo no Haramase Paidol My Star Gakuen Z".

The closest you'd get to what you describe would be someone who makes their own music, or someone who makes SFM videos (which are often western and thus not hentai). If I had to guess, that's roughly 50000 kbps. A 1080p would be fine with simple 2-4000 kbps. A 720p would be fine with 1500-2000 kbps.

A proper 1080p @ 3000 kbps and 4 min would sit at ~90MB.

A proper 720p @ 1500 kbps would be at ~45 MB

Quite a bit of wasted bandwidth for <1% quality difference.

SFM HMVs became a lot more recently, might be a result of all the Overwatch stuff and SFM in general becoming more popular.
Also they don't really get taken down on streaming sites like PH, while HMVs with actual hentai often do.

They do get taken down, trust me. And Blizzard is working hard to get them all down. There's just so many, it's harder to notice.
Also, there's so many of them because they're tailored made for HMVs. With the exception of STUDIOFOW and maybe a few others, SFM comes out in short loops of animation and most of them have no sound. So people that wanted to upload these super popular things to streaming sites as compilations, either had to add music or have a video with no audio. The things practically made themselves. That's not to say a lot of people don't spend a ton of time on the editing and make a good HMV, but it almost seems like that part was a byproduct of packaging SFM content for streaming sites.

Take a look into Bastati's folder in the mega link, he has 60fps versions there. You can use programs like Hybrid to convert videos to 60fps. One problem though is that converting them can cause artifacts or whatever you call them like seen in the pic attached.
Some other editors made 60fps versions too. Sage had some, but I don't know where they are now, 'cause he changed the files in the folder he made.

Actually you probably could do a decent 60 fps conversion from 24fps, the problem is that most hentai actually runs at 6 to 8 fps (just step through to see how few frames actually change).

Upconverting framerate by a factor of 8 to 10 just isn't gonna work, especially because most people who try it are retarded and don't even delete the duplicate frames first.

This is one of my WIP's I've had since... april last year. I initially gave up on it, as the material wasn't good for this type of song. The MC likes to put his dick in his sister, and go to fucking slam town, and its drawn at 3fps during those parts. I don't know why I wanted to work on it, but I made it work, and for what the source material is, I am happy with how it came out.

If anyone has any catchy names, I'll rename the HMV. As well as I am looking for comments / criticism. I've been out of the game for a year, and I've gotten rusty. Don't hold back, I can take it, I'm a big boy.

What's up with new fighting games?

After giving Tekken 7 a try i realized how much fighting games have changed.

I use mediafire because it's what I've always used. It used to have a streaming option that they nicked, and that was the main draw for me at the time. I just don't move to mega because of lazyness. I've tried moving stuff to pornhub, but it just gets DMCA'd which I've never had a problem with on mediafire.

I don't understand the need for extra bit rate on top of the source bit rate. Maybe the extra fps adds additional 20-50% bit rate on top of original bit rate, but not anything more.

Please optimize the file size, the extra bit rates are complete waste as they do not add to quality.

(There's quite a smoothness difference between a standard 720p render and my double passed 60fps 720p render)

If your just concerned about your own bandwidth; when I post finished HMV's I'm pretty good at posting both my version that I keep, and a 480p, single pass, version too.

I don't think the music is the problem. From my own experience and some other people, who had their videos get taken down it's the hentai companies (sellers?), that take them down, like a1c.
Maybe just reduce the average/max bps? I don't think it needs to be that high. Maybe 5MBit/s? I don't know much about that either.. but some anons do.

Thats why I said to take into account of the original source quality and then adjust according to fps rate increase.

24 fps ->60 fps = +150%

For example, if the original video bit rate is 2000 bit rate, then you just add 3500 bit rate, 5000 bit rate should be the point where you dont have any quality loss. Anything more is just extra space that serves no purpose.

My complaint isn't about necessarily about file size but rather about wasted file size/bandwidth/space. This is just inefficient and does nothing to increase any quality.

Alright, I think some air clearing is needed in here.

Reason why some people had and still have mediafire folders was because mediafire was the surefire method back then. Keep in mind that this community is older than mega.nz. Back then, mediafire wouldnt have too many ads and they weren't cucks to DMCAs, as time passed, much like internet service providers they became slaves to lawsuits and the like. So some works that included the name of the songs on their title were removed.

Still, even though mega.nz is the flavor of the.... year? decade? I dunno what to label it... Mediafire isn't too bad, granted that you have a popup or ad blocker and you dont put the name of the songs on your title. For those across the sea(not in murica') you can easily go to google and type in "proxy websites" and then copy the link on the site and bam, easy access, not a big dealio.

I hate the quality of the one I uploaded DESU, the 2 pass is smoother in the 10 seconds of speeding scenes.

I still plan on uploading the 2 pass when it's nearing completion, but I don't want anyone that wants to follow this HMV to have to continually download that size of file repeatedly. (Also I only have .66Mbps upload)

It's not worth it (IMO) Sure, it's a home edited porn video made for wanking. But If I'm going to spend 10+ hours staring at a screen, I definitely want all the video quality retention for my effort.
