As someone else who's still not on the Neo train (hybrid install here) and enjoying the gifts of 4k diffuses and graphics tweaks (though not tinkered with curves yet), I'd say stick with Studio classic for awhile longer till modders sort this shit out.

Thats because some modder use the wrong cloth type (first 3 number). Hsslotid will report the correct type, as the game sees it, so that it can report the correct conflict.
Read the dongfire post, it goes into details on why the program does what it does.

I had that issue for awhile. Apparently if you've had any progress whatsoever beyond the first encounter with a girl after placing them in a room, that happens. If however, it's your first encounter immediately after placing a new girl into a room everything is fine and dandy.

So really the issue is you can only ever go on that first date with a new girl lest you keep taking them out of the room (and tweaking personality stats to make it truly "new") and putting them back in to keep having that first date.

I found that all to be a pain in the ass so I just removed everything except the cosmetics for now.

That could be a conflict with the two new voices. You could always add it manually with the Voice menu. I do that sometimes over using HSStudio's because a lot of times the hard/waiting to climax voices are beyond terrible. They sound like they're stuck in a paint mixer going full bore.

I mean, the voice menu works, but the mod thing doesn't. The IK menu for voice where it adds the voice and face animations. I guess I need to wait for an update? I downloaded a patch last thread but that didn't fix it.

There's only like two scenes where I like it, but I like the face animations more, because it makes them look...well, more animated. Instead of being stuck in a trance.

I'd rather have finger manipulation in the editor itself instead of adjusting values, though I'm sure I'd make even more accidental changes than before. Hopefully NEO will have everything the original had and more, if you know how to handle the mods you can do amazing things with light and shading. The finger adjustments as it currently is in the mod are sliders, not values. And a slider for each metacarpal.

Is there a way in the character creator to prevent it from taking backgrounds or card backings and running it through that contrast and saturation filter it seems to use? It basically murders any background put through it.

yea it really depends what you're looking for. the one's attached at the ankles as accessories are pretty good all around and are easier to deal with but the invisible ring + another character looks way better so it depends if you want to see it in motion (which the ankle ones are great since they have bones and physics) or static image which the invisible method is more convincing.

Skirt and hair bones are great too. I think there's a lot of potential for skirt bones if someone were to make a shirt (or cape, or whatever), add it to the game as a skirt, and give it manipulable bones. Could get some more ways to show off side boob and cleavage.

worth it for some if you have backups and are willing to risk things breaking regardless but the consensus is hold off until all the mods are ported over and are stable.

The best option however is the hybrid install that so many have opted for where installing just the clothes/maps/hairs/accessories, etc while keeping the functionality of Studio Classic TM

I installed the Christmas DLCs abdatas and userdatas as well, after anon told me about hybrid installs. Now I THINK I have all the new stuff, but I'm not 100% sure. Everything appears to be fine right now.

And I fixed my game by having a backup made. Wew. It would be pretty big, but I bet people would love me uploading a 7gb rar of a heavily modded HS with all the DLC outfits. Then again it ain't hard to download the DLCs and rip the data you need out of it.

Press Q to toggle visibility of nodes for FK/IK posing and moving objects. Press W, E, and R to cycle between movement, rotation, and scaling. Z is undo, shift-Z (I think) is redo. CTRL-Clicking in the work space lets you select multiple. In order to make something a parent you have to click it first before ctrl-clicking the children, then click the parent button. To make a character a parent you have to select a specific part from their expanded drop down menus. To delete something, hit your delete key in the workspace.

This might help until you get a translation. The hotkeys are really nice for speeding things up.

I have created a local list.
I also searched my entire Honey Select folder for the Tattoos_Maurox.unity3d and its not there.

I have had a problem like this before where i deleted a unity3D file and it was still creating a conflict. but for this one i never once installed that file i cant even find it on the pastebin.

Any Modders know where the Unity3d files inject into maybe if i can get in to there i can deconflict the Mod with the Update somehow.....

Okay, I'm having a really frustrating issue since installing the new DLC. Installed everything to my old directory, reinstalled the translations, updated slider mod, and everything was working perfectly. Then, I tried to boot into VR mode (using Eusth's mod) and the FPS went to shit. Now, even launching the regular game the FPS is terrible. Why is this? I had this problem earlier without launching the VR mod. Whatever this problem is fucks up the entire install and I have no idea how to fix it. I have a back-up but my whole reason for playing Honey Select is VR and I don't know what steps I need to take to make this not fuck up

okay this got it working, had a great experience BUT due to the lack of translations I do have some questions...

is there a way to switch scenes without taking off the headset? one of the best parts of Eusth's mod was full control over the entire game with one controller. also, is there a way to control the scenes? the other thing in Eusth's mod I love is the trackpad acting as your scroll wheel. it let me pretty much time the scene to end exactly in tune with me, using the official vr loader shit was going automatically and i couldn't stop or slow it down.

it does look a lot better though, and the few settings i did figure out on the vive wand were very useful (clothes changing shortcut, camera controls)

Tried to hybrid install (copied all abdata and UserData shit, didn't overwrite). Used Slot ID to correct conflicts. I can't do any H shit though. When I load a map I get pic related. This is why you all shouldn't have listened to duck and copied everything in the user data/abdata folders.

The reason this happens is because inside of the ABDATA folders you have some files that are only compatible with the new game. I remember I accidentally dropped HiR's exe in the ABDATA folder somewhere, and it ruined my studio for example.

Anyways you're fucked now. Next time you attempt a hybrid install, SPECIFICALLY copy over items that are hairs and clothing ONLY. NOTHING under studio or itemobj. (Or anything else that looks funny). You have to actually go into the ABDATA folder. I went in and saw a ton of files that I knew would fuck my shit up, and hand deleted them before copying.

Yes the character maker is translated, as is studio classic and other things, but the 4-28 DLC has broken a lot of that. However, if you hybrid the game for now you'll get most of the goodies and things will remain translated, for the most part. Though if you are going to hybrid, be sure to do it right and copy over only the abdata and userdata from disk1 of the new DLC, and do NOT overwrite anything if asked.

It's a split. Some swear by the hybrid, some deal with the full install. At least hybrid cards can be used in both 1.20 and a hybrid 1.11. Give it a few weeks when translations and mods are fully upgraded and eventually everyone'll go full install. Hybriding's just a way to enjoy most of the content while waiting for things to stabilize.

I don't get what you guys are getting at with 'hybrid' installations. If you follow normal installation procedures you shouldn't have any issues, update your plugins and re-run your patches. I have copied over all the files and overwritten the old ones, re-installed the older translations and updated plugins. Everything here works as it should and I have access to all the new content, without losing any of the functionality my previous installation had. Except maybe SkinTex, I haven't tested if that one still works in the studio.

Neo also works without issues but some plugins will need an update before it can replace the studio. Only thing not working for me right now is NEO studio VR but that's the least of my worries.

So I'm about to switch to Party DLC / Neo. Some mod that you know, is It going to break with the change? or any mod that becomes corrupt. I have a lot of mods installed (Mostly clothes and additional menus for IK etc) and I do not want to re-install one by one.

for that picture? nothing, its just good old vanilla graphics. i do adjust the light a bit. but thats all.
now though i use 4k mod, but i kinda liked the old one better. if you scroll up you'll find some of the newer pictures with the 4k skin. i wanted to go back to the original skin. i am waiting for things to stabilize until i decide.
