Cool, enimaroah was right. I was able to merge two armatures for this hair in the same animator, which means I was able to merge the long back hair with the side tail. By also adding the monobehaviour of the second armature, both animate independently.

Something tells me we can actually have custom bone chains for hairs after all.

I don't really understand the issue. Wouldn't manually setting the XYZ coordinates and the like in the character editor fix it? You can attach every item there to specific body parts. I even thought about using it as hair on the head.

I sort of get it now. I had similar issues when trying to mount the hair extensions to the ears.
Still, the futacocks in the fetish pack work fine when attached to the waist and I generally had no problems with the waist.

You know, I read instructions on how to load scenes, but I never see anyone post any scenes.

This is the kind of cancer that makes me fed up with this "game". Modding communities always go shit and gets nothing done when people start restricting others from improving their content. This is also true in a broader sense of life. If you can't use a content, then it might as well doesn't exist and ignore it.

I don't know the fag who made it and will probably never know because he is a chink who went MIA. I certainly can't be arsed to waste any more time and try to recreate it, because regardless of my own lack of expertise the amount of time it would take simply doesn't worth it. Nice, are you going to update your hair tutorial on how to add bones and multiple armatures? Tried the script copying but somehow it erased all the values in the script when I did it. Never had the problem with the renderqueue's though. The custom armatures is what I'm interested in the most, though I doubt it would solve any of the clipping issues with long hair.

I tend to do this with animators that already have an existing Dynamicbone script, because I don't know if copying it alone works fine.

In case you want to know right now how to copy the armature, all you need is to use the workspace for it.

Open the animator where you'll be pasting the additional bones. Let's call it Animator A. It should have an existing DynamicBone Monoscript.

Open the animator that contains the bones you need. Let's call it Animator B.

Open a new workspace.

In Animator B, select one level after the cf_N_J_ frame (should start by something like cf_J_hairB_top). Drag and drop all that in the workspace.

Now go to Animator A. Drag from the workspace your bonechain inside Animator A's own cf_N_J_ frame. Select Merge. Click Ok. You should end up with a single cf_J_hairB_top (or whatever you have in your case).

If in Animator A you have a different name for the frame cf_J_hairB_top, you must change it in Animator B before dropping it in the Workspace. I don't know how well that would work.

After you've done that is when you're supposed to copy the dynamic bone monobehaviour (not the script) from Animator B to Animator A. You also use the workspace for that. After all that, you add your meshes like usual.

I still don't know if custom armatures are possible, but if the hair is mostly controlled by DynamicBones, it should be. However, as I've said before, I think we're limited to the amount of bones the Dynamic Bone Monobehaviour's array references.

For that, you'll have to edit the skeleton, and when you import, for every bone in the frames, you have to tick Update Bones & Frame and click apply changes.

It's just a hat, probably one I grabbed from boshi mods earlier but any hat will do. Just enlarge it and make the visor part face the ground. Long parts are from honey blog scarfs.

For anyone who didn't install the update + DLC yet, I just did it on my heavily modded installation and after reapplying the GGmod and Wideslider patchers everything seems to be intact. Studio seems to be back to japanese for some reason but the game is still in english, checking that out now.

Still no UI, but user control is in.... kinda? It's not easy to use yet.
I plan to properly map the XYZ control to visible controls instead of XY mouse movement for obvious reasons, ie: missing an entire axis (and a shitty guesswork approach to manip lol).
But the fundamentals are in. Other stuff like pinning a bone to another I haven't checked out yet, but I imagine it's straightforward to just append transforms.

Right now two transforms are possible:
Relative, we apply some offset to a Vector3.
Absolute, we replace a Vector3 completely.
Both can be undone due to how the system has been designed, but fuck me I'll need to start cleaning up the code before I go mad.
