I just downloaded this two days ago, and I'm quite surprised. Illusion's move to Unity was a great move if this is the quality we can expect. I haven't played a game this relaxing in a long time. The music alone is fantastic. The feeling when I model a character to the lovely soundtrack just makes me feel relaxed. Does anyone know where I can find
I've got the VR mod running too, and it's definitely a good experience. Anyone else playing this game in VR? Also, do you know if achievements function in VR? I don't think they do.

The only significant issues I've had are being unable to change things like most tattoos, any make-up or moles, etc. For some reason, none of those things show on my character models.

I'm attaching a card of a S/serious type girl I made(S = Sadist or Slave?). I'm not sure if there's anything else I should have done. Any Anons want to change her up?

Also, does anyone know how saving works? Is it automatic? Do I need to exit the game in a specific way?

This is a different experience than AA2 by far, though, and I have yet to sex more than one of the characters I've made.

Wasn't SB made with their own in-house engine, though? I'm glad they've decided to ditch it if we get such higher-end content like this now. I wish the translation covered all character text too, though. It only covers menu options and some introduction text from Sitri for me. Maybe I have something wrong in the setup?

No, Sexy Beach Premium Resort was the 2nd title they made using Unity. It just had way to many technical issues with the more open world gameplay. Honey Resort was pushed out to rectify those problems and here we are now so if you didn't play SBPR you didn't miss much since this is the more polished game.

Don't know if you tried the Studio yet but that's where most of the freedom will come into play. Depending on how attach you become to it, you'll either hate it or spend a huge amount of time there and never touch the main game again, heck some people didn't even bother with the main and jumped right into Studio.

Don't worry about your character's appearance, you can always go back and change them anytime(Until you go mad)

Isn't the studio essentially just a poser/animation studio for characters? I've only really played the main game. The studio is confusing, and when I tried to play a scene from some images I nipped off of the booru, I mostly just got a bunch of static colored squares. I don't think the studio would support VR either.

I know I can go back. It's just achieving the proper change that's frustrating. I think she almost looks a bit too Chinese than I'd like, and it can be tough without making holes in her face or something.

That sounds neat, but I wonder what's lost in the process. I enjoyed AA2 not just for the porn, but for the opportunities it provided as an actual game, which made for great RP opportunities. Some people might think that sounds cringy or stupid, but it's the same with games like HentHighschool+ (which apparently just had it's first update in 6 months or so last week!). It's just a great way to experience these games instead of as quick fap material (which they're good for too).

I don't know, I didn't time it. Several hours irregularly spread over a few days, I guess. The animations are indeed stock from the game like >>4443687 said, though several of them had alterations using the method in >>4443667. Planning what I wanted to do, making the characters and building the maps (the pool one specially) took a lot of time. Learning to work the moving camera in ShortcutsHS and getting the angle, speed and timing right took even longer. I kept redoing it because I wasn't happy.

Does anyone have the cards for the VA11- Hall-A girls and also whatever mods they need? I tried using the Stella one that was posted and her eyes were warp to the back of her skulls. It was an enjoyable nightmare.

The reason SBPR was so badly optimized was because their LOD models were the exact same models as the high poly map, they always rendered the water with mirroring under the map, even when there was no ocean to be seen. The shaders were also badly optimized.

I've only used SBPR as a poser, sadly the studio for HS is not much better than the one for SBPR except for the fact they split costumes and characters. I'd kill for more control for the elbows and hand rotation because not even HSStudiomod can fix it.

As a game SBPR was a total failure and they acknowledged this when they released a full unlock save with one of the patches. As a free-roaming dating sim AA2 was a lot better, would have been a 10/10 game if it had more actual gameplay and a better system for romance.

Hopefully Illusion has a moment of enlightenment and decides to create a 3D dungeon crawler using all the resources they gathered making HS and SBPR. Sadly they'd need actual competent game developers and people who can do more than get scripts from the unity store.

Not the same anon here. It is super limited. The dating part is really straightforward, just kinda wear the girls down, no trick to it. The character creation's only real strength is the hair customisation, where you can actually change its length.

I'm tempted to say Custom Maid 3D 2 is a better dating sim, and even then there's plenty of things to criticise in that game too.

Compared to AG3 not much has changed when it comes to 3D H-games, I think Illusion adding a studio was actually their best decision. They have no game development skills so they might as well make a poser instead. If there were enough people to build up a team, you could easily make a game better than anything Illusion has pumped out. If only I had the time and determination to continue my own project again.

Not Roy but I can help you out. Your scaling is clearly off, this happened to me a lot at the beginning too. Are you using the Experimental Apply Transform option in Blender?

If you mesh has a scale of 1.0 but your armature is of scale 0.1 this will happen. Press N to open the Transform tab in your 3d view in Blender, select the mesh in object mode and look at scale. Do the same with your armature.

Importing the fbx shows the top lying on its back, the scale of the armature and mesh are not equal and the mesh doesn't have the same -90 rotation as the armature. Consider using experimental Apply Transform option when importing and exporting meshes, it makes everything a lot easier.

I did the following to fix your mesh:
>Import FBX, using default settings: scale = 1, experimental transform is off
>Set the scale of the mesh and armature both to 1.
>Rotate the mesh 90 degrees in Object mode to have the same orientation as the armature.
>In Edit mode, scale down the mesh by 0.025.
>Export the mesh again, most likely you'll have to scale it down so set the scale to 0.1 or 0.025, you'll have to fiddle because I don't know how you exported it.

Keep in mind that the wideslider mod technically breaks the game, and making girls to big or to small will fuck up some of the default animations. As far as I know there's no way to fix it.
