Not sure why, but a lot of the character positionings are fuck-tarded in this game so far. When the girl is supposed to be on her knees sucking the guy off, they're usually positioned so that she's vigorously going at his nipples. It's really hard to see anything as sexy when almost nothing is occurring where it's supposed to be. Seems this is a pretty common issue for people playing with the HF patch. I've seen a few people point fingers at the uncensor patches at the culprit, but haven't seen anything definite (and in particular haven't seen a fix). It seems that once your characters start floating into the wrong positions then it's pretty much permanent from that point on; you'd have to restore to a previous save file that didn't have the issue (but many of us are having this problem immediately). Some people think it's a bug of the base game itself, but others counter them with the apparent lack of examples of this bug coming from native japanese players (including ones who have done several hundred in-game days worth).

The issue may be more likely to occur with particularly short girls. So those of you with a loli/midget/short girl fetish they're making girls for may be getting the short end of the stick. So to speak.

So in other words it's not entirely clear what the problem is, and if it's a game bug or a mod bug, but maybe try running it without the decensor mods. Frankly you're not really gaining much with it in place anyway, since it's not like the decensored genitals are meaningfully detailed.

Okay, I think I figured out the base reason for this. Which I assume must be known somewhere in the larger community, but hell if I could find it.

Anyway, the game has (numerical) sliders for a girl's Height and Leg Length. These can go as low as -199, yielding a net listed height of about 54cm. The key word there is "listed". In actual fact the character's rendered height (and leg length) do not change when either of these sliders goes negative. It renders the character itself as if the value was 0, rather than the listed negative value--ultimately this means the minimum effective height in the game right now is 134cm (for a bit of reference, Saber from FSN is about 154cm, which is a slightly short to average Japanese female height I think).

The problem, however, is that when the game goes to position the character into most scenes it actually uses the negative values on the sliders when trying to put them in the correct position. This results in it trying to properly center an impossibly short girl (54 cm is about 21 inches tall) at positions more suitable for a short girl (134 cm is just under 53 inches, or a tad under 4.5 feet). Ergo, mouths end up at nipple height instead of cock height.

Adjusting the maid's height and leg length--yes, you can change these after you've hired them and done all sorts of things to them; you can change pretty much everything and turn them into a radically different person with no cost or consequence--to a minimum of 0 should fix these sorts of issues.

There does seem to be a more generic issue with positioning all the same, as I have seen blowjobs that were positioned as nose-fucks with characters closer to the default heights, when many times before that those characters had no alignment issues. What exactly the cause of that is I have no idea.

Well, editing the save file is certainly fast, but if you don't like that you just have to pay attention to how mechanics work.

Night actions can be a massive drain on your day stats if you ignore reason. Constantly stopping during an action is one way to get reason back; you can also insert a "Cool Pose" activity after any other activity you expect will drain a lot of her reason away.

The night XP from an act is listed along with its stamina cost when you're selecting the night's activities. Most things give 2.5 XP per stamina point, rounded down--32 stamina gives 80 XP, 33 stamina gives 82 XP (not 82.5 or 83). The XP gain doesn't really seem to care how much you do during the activity itself. So you can just do a couple of actions and then skip to the next one if you just want the class XP.

And importantly, once you have a maid with high stats, make her your head maid and use Maid Training on the girl you're trying to level up in those stats. If the Head Maid has maximum leadership score (100), training will give the trainee 4.8% (rounded up) of all of the head maid's stats, including night stats (which isn't listed, but it's there). A head maid with a Lust of 9999, say, will give the trainee 480 points of Lust every single night. With a maxed out head maid you can train a fresh maid to have 5k+ in every stat in about 11 days.

Note that training gives no class xp, for day or night, but if you're trying to just unlock class options for a new maid then training under a good head maid is the quickest option.

The DLCs all just add more data files. They come with installers to make sure that you don't overwrite more up-to-date data files, but it's otherwise little more than dumping the data files in the corresponding folder for the game. It should make no particular difference when you install them, but you might as well do 1.2 first.

When doing the HF patch it should give you an option to create a shortcut, which is what you need to make sure it runs properly (at least on 64 bit installs). You don't need anything beyond that unless you're doing your own mods or trying to fiddle with them in some way.

I stopped playing CMD3D1 long before all the DLCs and mods for it would have stopped or slowed to a crawl. So I don't really know. From what I played, 2 has more skills, a basic attempt at an actual plot (though it doesn't try to bury you in it, thankfully), and an attempt to make the non-sex part of the day relevant.

If you were heavily into mods in the first game you would have to go through the trouble to find comparable mods for most of them again, some of which may not have been created yet, or others which may be privately circulated or hidden deep in obscure fora.

I'm getting stuck at the initial maid creation scene. The default maid's eyes are unnaturally pearly white, like there's a missing texture or something.

For some reason, when I click on the "Eyes" button, the game crashes and generates a log folder. The crash log contains a few "filename not found" errors at the end just before "CRASH!".

Any idea how should this be fixed? I installed the game in this order:

This is the default pose that characters are designed and rigged to.

When creating a rig, you want to maximize the range of motion (given a use case) while minimizing the distortion. So if your default pose has each joint flexed halfway between the minimum and maximum flex angle given your use case, then you will minimize distortion.

The earliest example of this was the T-pose.
Most video games merely featured running poses and slashing poses. So an outstretched rig was both easy to make and fit the criteria.

A contemporary example is the A-pose. The A-pose is nearly identical to the Anatomical Position often used in biology reference texts.
