You can use a 3DS to see through clothes too.

Wow I'm really impressed with some of the depth maps you guys created.
Here I am just drawing basic circles on the boobs, and I see shit like this.
I'm just trying to contribute by exporting some of the depthys posted here to a high quality webm. After I've put a few together I'll upload them in bulk.
The dump begins. Only made a few. really hard to keep the quality with my codec/programs I use. But I think they turned out ok.
This one is particularly well put together. (you should see the depth map for this.)
Starting to think I could have compressed these better. But whatever. My next batch will be improved. It truly was a learning process.
And Finally, one that I created the bump map for. Again, I now know a lot more about bitrate/original capture compression rate. Next batch will be awesome.
A couple Tamanegi's I threw together. Will return to them.

Its a shame that I can't get a screenshot of the depthmap that I made for this. I created maping for the cum. That was interesting. Also, I used UNEVEN motion. The boob on the right moving more than the boob on the left.
I'll always pick apart my work after I've exported them. All the little flaws. But when I send them to my friends it seems so very trivial. What do you guys think of this batch?
IDK it was just from the original image. It almost looks like its from her shifting her shoulders to one side. However her shoulders are now even. IDK, maybe his dick is prying it in that direction.
Ok. First off I just want to say, thank you for going through the effort to put this together.
That being said, you should have inverted the depth of the thighs/butt. Although YES the butt is "farther" you want to make it "pop" more, and the only way to do this is by making it closer (darker).
Ya you have to be REALLY careful. I ALMOST lost something too. if you still have the window/tab up you might try to see if you can go back a page, it MIGHT still be there!

You can get it best if you put your finger right between the 2 pics and then focus on it as you pull it closer to the bridge of your nose.
What you actually want is to see 3 images, the center one of which will be the 3D one.
After you've done it a few times, it's really easy.
There was Mighty Switch Force thread on /v/. I was didn't even cared about that character or game up untill some anon requested depthy of this image.
This one's not that great and since it's such big image you can see some mistakes.
But I do like outcome of this one. Fresh out of oven.

Is it possible to view the Depthy image on the 3DS like you do with the QR codes?
I get the same thing.
Apparently some people have the ability to directly export their depthy to a video file, and it seems like these ones freeze at the end for me as well.
That's why I actually screen recorded mine into uncompressed video files before converting them to webm.
tl;dr idk, maybe their codec is different.
how did you export that into webm if you don't mind me asking.

Found out you can make a stereoscopic image out of two screenshots from Depthy.
However I can't upload what I made onto Depthy, its not allowing me unless I make an account.
I plan on making more of these. So if anybody knows how to make an account that'd be cool!
This thread has a serious lack of anal, so I made this.
I only trust myself to make quality ones. Most of the ones I've seen in here I've gone to the depthy link to touch up.

To garner attention/support for depthy, I decided to use a couple popular pictures.
I'm learning more and more each time I make one of these.
Ok then, here's a challenge. I plan on doing this some day, but if you can do it then it'll be impressive.
The damn webm exporting process integrated in the website sometimes messes up.
This one looks like it's missing a frame or 2. I find that the slower the animation, the less it's noticeable.
Need to make that shit way less "near". Even on calm it's ridiculous. Start with a base layer of something that is just a bit away from maximum "farness" then slowly put small layers of shapes that are more "close" on top of that. Do this is smaller increments, and test it in the preview and I think you'll improve.
Pretty sure this genre is not allowed in /h/. Practice and share what is allowed, then in your own time you'll have to try this one.

I am in desperate need for a guide on what to do and what programs i should use.

Depthy isn't that hard if you're ready to put some work into it.
Things that are far away from the viewer will be bright. I would recommend starting with the bright points and painting the whole image in that gray shade. It is usually the background (a wall or something) so it will probably fill a big area. Then you gradually darken the paint the closer one object becomes.
I uploaded my own depth map of >>3865647 so let's take that as an example.
The wall is the farthest away, so it has the brightest gray shade. Then comes her head, her shoulders, the arm and the butt.
If you want to create round surfaces (or tube-like surfaces), the middle-most point has to be the darkest (take her ass cheeks as an example).
Of course, the penis in this picture is very close to the viewer, so it has a near-black tone to it.
Important: This depthy stuff has to come naturally in my opinion. Don't try to put too much thought into it. Everyone has a sense of depth, so it should be completely natural to know which point would be the closest to you. Also, don't go overboard with depthing. Even if you want the breasts in your image to look big, it WILL look ridiculous if they are much closer to the viewer than the rest of her body. Using well drawn images with sufficient shading is very helpful in the beginning.

Nothing on your character should have the same shade as your background. Painting the back of the hair in the same shade as the background would mean that they didn't exist, which looks weird. The head should stand out (make it darker) compared to the neck, which is farther away. You were a bit too careful with the breasts, once you've done the head, give them that overall shade and go a bit darker from there on. Also, thin lines aren't really useful for big areas such as the legs, it'd make it look more like a scar or something. Use thicker brushes and less contrast between each shade in order to do the arms and the legs. The beginning of the tail is nearer to the viewer than its end, with the middle part being the farthest away. The hair looks good, but if you decide to make the head darker, adapt it to that shade.
I wouldn't care much about hardness and transparency settings, so leave them be and try to get the other stuff down first. Keep at it.
