mp4 is actually an extended version of mov, though i'm not sure if there's anything mov can do that mp4 removed support for
since it's just a phone video, it's unlikely you really need anything besides the video and audio tracks
just remux it and see how you go
ffmpeg -i input.mov -map 0 -c copy output.mp4

(this is lossless)

Quick math lesson
> take a full %
> half the %
> times the % and times it by the number currently correlating to the number which is 2 above the % but no less than 3
> divide the % by it self
> take the number of numbers it takes to make the % and add them to gather
> then square rout by three
> and add 12
> you should get 3 if not try again

And if I watch a boy dressed like a girl, fucking a girl in the pussy, does that make it heterosexual? Does it make it more heterosexual than normal porn with full on big muscly men pounding a woman, because instead of that you get a cute feminine girl (male).

My old PC decided to not turn on at all, not even powering the fans. I took out everything, leaving only the motherboard and the PSU, then it turned on and I started hearing typical electrical crackling, a burning smell and some smoke. Turns out it's coming from the connector of the chipset's fan. Is it beyond saving?
>>
>>62181292
there might be a tool to do that for you
otherwise you can just do it manually like this;
1. create a urandom-sourced file the same size as the sd card
2. write that to the sd card
3. diff them to see if they're identical

a real sd card will of course match the image you wrote to it, but a fake one can't, you use random data instead of blank data to avoid being fooled by fake blank data being returned (but not actually stored)

Locked down OS. Just like windows is to MacOS, third party software is bountiful on android, and even though a lot of it's shit, there's some stellar stuff for every niche (amazing media players, ricing utilities, system utilities, productivity apps, etc.) that either have 1 if you're lucky iphone counterpart that's not up to par, or more likely, no replacement.

The software is the sole reason I won't even consider an iphone, but there are others.

The screen resolution is pitiful, the speakers are ass (well, depends on what phone you're coming from), the hardware buttons are cheap and prone to breaking (with costly replacement/repair as your only option), battery life is meh (depending on what phone you're comparing it too, I guess)

all around, only reason to get one is if you literally don't give a shit about your mobile experience

MHz don't matter that much. Apparently they do slightly more on DDR4 than on DD3. Personally I'd go with 8GB because you can always just add another 8GB at the same speed, while you should never need to upgrade from 16GB. Also, it's MHz, the correct abbreviation for Hertz is Hz.

I'm new to servers. Would like to get some networking knowledge via hands-on learning. Am looking at buying a relatively cheap machine and running it on my network. It's got a Xeon X5650, 9GB ram, it's an mATX mobo, and will probably build it in a relatively small form factor case.

All it'd need a graphics card for is interface use, correct?
If so, something basic like a GT710 would be fine?

Also, if I wanted to offload video editing/rendering (maybe for the future) and such to it so I could utilise CUDA (or whatever the AMD equivalent is), what's the sorta card I'd benefit from at a fair price point?
Pretty much anything with a good amount of CUDA cores and decent clocks?

Sorry for the wording, the only technical knowledge I have is building computers for clients, and even then that isn't hard to do.

I tried removing that shit after the install forcefully, and now I've ended up in dependency hell. What is the appropriate way to install a la arch where you can pick packages from the base group, so I don't have to install a bunch of useless shit I don't need? Should I just manually install the packages I need instead of going through the installer, or do I have to rebuild base-system and strip it of some of the useless dependencies?

Mobile data = data going through your MOBILE PROVIDER
Your phone will choose wifi (if available) over mobile data. so you can leave that on, because when you leave the house it will automatically switch over to mobile data.

Data roaming = connecting to cellular networks when ABROAD. Which, most of the time, means you will have to pay extra because you're abroad. contact your provider how much you have to pay

>I assume "Voice" means for phone calls?
You are correct. If you have a 4g plan from your carrier I would personally enable it since you will benefit from the extra fast speeds. however, it does eat more battery life but the benefits outweigh that fact imo.

I'd try scanning all your hdds using chkdsk if you're using windows. if you want to really feel like you tried every possible thing to prevent damages you can pop open that case and disassemble everything and look for fuses that got fucked or some dark spots due to electricity.

Kodi is just a media player, it can run on pretty much any OS, so it's often thrown on a lightweight distro. Most of the unauthorized apps people use don't touch torrents. They just use streams hosted by websites, the same as what you would do in your browser, but with a better interface. There's even a couple services that let you pay a few bucks a month for private access to better sites.

can you guys help this idort how to into excel?

the "total"s at the bottom I want to show the value of income minus the first group (mandatory expenses), then income minus the first and second groups, then the income minus the first and second and third groups, etc as they are color coordinated

Basically as a way to show me "You will have x money left over but if you need more just cancel things in a certain group"

What is a good alternative to Kindle Fire 8? I just want a simple tablet for readan and browsan and Fire seemed great until I saw they ask you to pay 10 shekels more to remove factory installed adware ("special offers"- kek). This totally rubs me the wrong way and I don't want such a product.
