Nvm, I just enabled developed mode and checked if it was unlocked there. Apparently it is.

I just got my Honor 8 today and I'm having problems with the battery. I started setting it up and getting accustomed to the UI so I used it heavily for about 3 hours and now it's at 10%.
I had already read about battery issues online and found out that they were caused by updating to EMUI 5 and not doing the factory reset afterwards. I was planning to update and reset the phone, but it came straight with EMUI 5 and Nougat, so that can't be it.
I also disabled the option that searches automatically for updates, and set all apps to close (except Whatsapp) when the phone screen is off.
Is there anything else I can do to help?

This is my problem /g/ Im between a LG G6 and a OnePlus 5, Im buying them on store because I can't do it online and theres a price difference of $20 between the two.

My needs are:
Good battery
Multiple apps opened without lag (clover, whatsapp, youtube, waze, instagram, chrome)
Good camera for the ocassional family gathering pics

I've been watching reviews and articles about both phones and heres what I like of each one.

The OnePlus 5 has great battery life, is smooth af, not the best but decent front and rear camera and dash charging. What I dont like is no waterproof for the price, no microsd and possible jellyeffect (not a biggie for me). The 8ram/128 storage is good for me.

The LG G6 has a great back camera but mediocre front camera for a highend phone. Screen ratio is a bit weird for some youtube videos, the battery isnt that great but still does the job, im not sure if its boatloaded with unecessary apps. The material is comfy to the hand, its $20 cheaper than the OnePlus 5.

I need help, does anyone has any of this phones that cares to tell how is the performance and if its worth the money. Or if theres a similar phone that Im missing to consider.

What's the opinion on LG X Mach? It's like nobody noticed this phone, but the specs for the price seem great.

Currently using LG G4 on Verizon in US, looking to switch to a non-Verizon branded phone so they cant screw with it. G6 would be a better buy since you get the small bezels, but like the G5 is filled with LG bloat.

As someone who has the S8 and had the S7, I can tell you that I noticed absolutely no speed improvements at all. It's the best looking phone on the market which is nice and I couldn't go back to another phone after using it (it just makes everything look so old) but you don't need anything close.

For what it's worth, preorder discounts and incentives actually take a significant amount off of the phone. For example, bestbuy takes $150 off of the note 8 and you also get the regular preorder bonus.
