0 - Install a Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine.

Are you happy now?
I can install minimal ubuntu?
drivers+system files+DE of my choice without any programms like thunderbird, video/audioplayer, etc?
>>61846151
None of those computers are new by any means.
15 years ago I had 512mb ram but since you said netbook, I think you were cheap back then as well so you might only have 128mb.
Depending on what you need to use the computer for aside from the DE, I would probably use openbox or lxde.
Try something like chrunchbang or whatever it is called now
Who does GNOME best? Fedora, Debian or Ubuntu? Ideally want to stick with a stable version of whatever distro, don't need my desktop tarding out every 2 minutes like Arch.
Btw please don't reply with 'muh alpine', you are becoming more autistic than the stallmanshits if you keep going down that path.
