Quick question: will uncompressed FLAC/ALAC files improve listening experience with ZS5?

Listening devices are iPod touch 4 and the 5th gen iPad. My Android doesn't provide very good sounds.

My ZS5 is shipping.. Will get after two weeks hopefully. If uncompressed music files provides better sounds, on my devices then I'll download some FLAC music.

got the HM7 for ~$5. Great price and great earphones. fit is good, nothing to complain about. sounds great with a slightly stronger bass than I am used to. nothing like "beats" or shit like that tho, just a bit more pronounced lower notes, just a bit above neutral.

overall, probably the best price-performance ratio of all the 5-rated ones.

You aren't going to get good knife steel from China. The best you'll find is 8Cr13MoV and that's barely distinguishable from 440C. Also the heat treat is going to be garbage in most cases. Gano does alright at it but there's only so much they can do with their chink steel. Western or Japan powder metallurgy will utterly blow it the fuck out but costs a fortune.

Good luck getting a knife that doesn't have a locking mechanism. You can try Ruike RKEM11 which is a small chink slipjoint, or the classic Buck folding knife, or an Opinel knife. They don't really have a "tacticool" look to them but they have a lot of heritage.

Alternatively, you could buy a frame-lock knife and fold the frame lock out of position so it no longer functions as a lock, and tighten the pivot screw down hard enough that the knife doesn't freely move. I wouldn't try it myself though.

As for good chink flippers, the Ruike P108 is nice for low-end, and Rike Knife 1507 for high-end.

I just feel the entire concept reeks of vanity and don't understand the mindset of people who buy into this. None of my clothes have any sort of famous logos.

Are there any /csg/ approved projectors or am I better off building one out of an old lcd screen and an overhead projector.

Looking for something that is under $90 and not incredibly dim.
