Got my Gs8000L in the other day. Hooked it up and worked great in my car. Had some trouble figuring it out, but it needs a micro sd card to record video. After that, you can have it record in 1, 2, 5, or 10 minute intervals. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Ordered these VE Monks off their own site. It's cheaper and it came super fast (8 days, to the Netherlands). Ordered the purple one with mic+volume controls. I really dig the color, the image doesn't do it justice. few general usability mods for it. swapped the trackpoint cap for the old lenovo grippy style for comfy.

used some 2mm thermal pad material to give it a bit of extra dissipation to the backplate over the CPU, temps improved by 10C.

used sharpkeys to switch the delete and backspace keys around, and autohotkey to make the little menu button do middle click instead.

gonna add some thin rubber stops to the bottom to make it stop waking up randomly.

Oh, also had to re-enable hibernate with powershell, because that's disabled for some reason.

It's a neat little thing. Not worth the 469 i paid for it though. Kinda comfy to use after fucking with it with shit i had laying around.
