We've actually had a lot of first time contributors to this project because of golang.
For contributing go fmt and go vet and such make life a lot easier for people to comply with standards.
The setup is super easy and straight forward.
I picked it because I liked it but for the nature of this project it's actually ideal.

You have to be a certain userclass to edit the info on a page like that anyway. Unless they are uploading.
