There are absolutely no logical arguments against a BP system on RED/APL. The trick is to tinker with the rates properly and/or what rewards come with the point exchange.

There are way too many single-seeded torrents on the site with little incentive to keep them.

Instead of idiotic 'throw some rotten meat to the hungry animals' occasional freeleech events the sites could use a slowly trickling BP system with additional multipliers for the time span of seeding and/or the number of seeds.

Again, the trick is to adjust the rates properly.
