Basically my bit torrent shit the bed and whenever I try to download a torrent, on the first attempt literally nothing happens. I'm left staring at bit torrent who instead of downloading my fucking chinese cartoons just stares me at me with its dick out.
So whenever I try again to open up the same magnet link, this time bit torrent opens and tells me "the list of trackers is already there? Do you want to load the trackers y/n/a/s/l?"
which would imply the download already happened. BUT IT FUCKING DIDN'T. I've tried with 5 different magnets, 5 different shows, same result each time.

Yeah, it'd be great if you at least start this. I just think it's more easy to do this server-side. The server already has an access to all magnets so one shouldn't manually download thousands of them. It can do this job incrementally in relatively small batches to not overload DHT network with thousands of requests (and a magnet should be polled for at least a week to determine if it's truly dead). Some custom server-side torrent pseudoclient made specifically for this job can do it way better than any real torrent client.

Reminder that /a/ doesn't even know how to add new trackers to a magnet.

The profileration of Nyaa-like sites is the best possible outcome of it's demise.

What's particularly great about pantsu is that it's fully open source and thus easy to clone/setup, but even so the best defence is still having many active sites carrying the same content, which in turn is not hard given the magic of magnets.
