actuation force is slightly higher, 55 vs 45. As far as gaming goes it doesn't really matter. Its all a big marketing meme. In Asia blues are advertised as the gaymer switch, so it really depends on what your preferences are. If you do want reds check out the magicforce keyboards. I'd get the ones with gaterons instead of the outemu or cherry versions

It's a very nice keyboard, but I don't have much use for a fullsize at home and I already have one for work, not to mention it's far too loud to be used in an office with other people. If my dream of self-employment ever comes into being I'd probably use it as my work keyboard, but until then it'll just be an essential part of my collection.

You just want some (You)s, so I'll give you one. I'm currently typing on a SSK. My desk space is already cramped as it is so a full size model M won't fit, but an SSK can. I never really used my number pad so I don't miss it. Buckling springs are a great switch type and much better then that cherry shit. My old MX blues don't feel as satisfying to type on. I'm really loving this keyboard, I just wish the case was a bit thinner.

When I'm nearing my top typing speed, the biggest thing holding me back is that my fingers tend to catch the edges of neighboring keys and press them down as well. I'm currently using a dome-switch keyboard.

I'd go with a Preonic in your position, it's way easier to mod in and you'd probably only need the top plate and PCB. Them just buy keycaps and the switches themselves. Programming in arrow keys is also piss easy and it looks really good.

No. Das 3 onwards are all about paying more for a low quality board with less features. The chinky costar stabs they use are wobbly as shit, the keycaps are thin, garbage ABS and it doesn't have anythinglike backlighting or programmability despite having a pricetag matching boards that do. Also from the Das 4 Mac and 4C onwards they've switched from genuine Cherry switches to cheaper Greetech switches while keeping the price the same, just like Razer did.
