Is there anything else that is worth looking at or am I just better off going for a go pro?

to install a custom rom on my redmi note 3 but at this point I've given up, the fucking twrp .img file is never found, i think I fucked up unlocking the bootloader because all the data is still on my phone etc. plus i'm afraid i'll brick my device

any help?

I just looked at few of them and they are better than I expected, actually. BUT I think the sharpness of the video is not quite there. (see station steps and the asian guy on the right inside the building. you can't see his face as he walks by and he is reasonably close).
I think my expectations with regards to this cam are just too high

Link me to a good but not too expensive car phone holder and car USB charger pls.

My car has those shitty ass round air vents that no holder seems to work with, and the 12v outlet is angled towards the passenger side, a small form factor would be great because my passengers sometimes hit a FM transmitter I used to have making it lose power.

Pic related my interior, power outlet is that protuberance next to the shifter.

If your passenger is hitting the outlet I don't think there's anything you can do to prevent that since that is the dumbest place I've ever seen that outlet placed.

yep. there are many little problems... the earbuds were non-removable (I cut them out), the screens were misaligned (I opened the case and when I put it back together they somehow aligned), the shroud sucks (it falls off when you take off the glasses), the rubber nose bridge broke (it fits fine without it though), the screens are too high (if I put the sides over my ears instead of on top it angles the screens better so they are more in focus)

but other than all that they work, just not in bright daylight (if you stand in the shade you can still see them), and I like how it doesn't block out your peripheral vision like bulkier headsets. The 5.8g reception is great, the battery lasts a long while (3 hours advertised), and they are easy to carry around (I can hook the side in pocket to carry them).

Do you have a guide for how to turn a drone and some TV glasses into a FPV drone thing? I would like something like that but I'm retarded.
>>
>>59993179
Like with chink clothes, you always but a protection level higher than you need. Chink motorcycle helmets appear to be fine for bike-level crashes but not motorcycle crashes. Advantages: Style, Chinguard. Disadvantages: Heat, reduced vision/hearing. You can easily see in most comparison videos where people smash motorcycle helmets that chink helmets are just bike helmet foam and stand up about as well as a normal bike helmet would.

Chink bike helmets are fine if you are a naroleptic and risk passing out while on an afternoon stroll.

i want to get a smartband, the main function i wanted is apps/call notification because my work environment needs my phone to stay silent. Is the Mi Band 2 the best or is there any new one that are better? There are hundreds of them in Gearbest and Banggood.
>>
>>59994052
The cheapest way I can think of is to get a cheap, simple quad and put an AIO FPV camera on it, but that requires soldering which I don't know if you want to do.

WiFi FPV sucks ass and you can't use goggles with it, but every fucking new quad these days has it. Fucking smartphone bullshit.

5.8g FPV quads come in two varieties, the ones that suck ass and the ones that don't come with controllers so you have to spend another $50.

So my actual recommendation is to buy whatever BNF DSM2 2S micro FPV quad that you like the looks of (for instance: gearbest.com/multi-rotor-parts/pp_597954.html) and then get this cheap transmitter that can be hacked to use DSM2: gearbest.com/multi-rotor-parts/pp_492299.html

Make sure the quad you choose comes with batteries and charger or you will have to get them seperately.

As for the goggles, just get the cheapest one, should be around $40. You will also need to get a battery and charger for it (the charger for your quad should work if the goggles take batteries of the same S number), check the specs before you buy.

The only thing that will upgrade receiver range is diversity, but the cheapest I've seen that is $160. And beware, just because goggles have two antennas does not make them diversity. The chinks really like shoving two antennas on and connecting them to the same point.

Other than range, you may want to upgrade ergonomics, I wouldn't recommend the ones I bought (model F640) to anyone who doesn't have a workbench for electronics projects, so the cheapest upgrade would be an authentic Fat Shark ($250+).

I just spent a lot of time looking at this stuff again and there's a lot of shit out there. Good luck.

Two years of intensive use, I don't complain, it did its job and it was cheap af. 16.41€ which is $17.65

Depends on your service provider. Your phone doesn't seem to support the 800 MHz LTE band, which is the most common band in Yurop.

I have yet to hear a reasonable explanation as to why Xiaomi don't support B20 except on one or two of their phones phones. It would immediately make them far more attractive to the European market.

Come on mang, do you really listen to 128GB worth in one shot. At worse, get a few 32GB cards with it.
Even War and Peace audiobook in perfect quality would be smaller.

128 is overkill.
Fiio X3 does it but enjoy your wallet getting raped.

1. I can't put 128 Gb of music on my phone because it's got other stuff on it.

1. Upgrade your phone, current models support memory cards bigger than 128Gb.
2. You can control it by touch, which for complex tasks is better than any other d-pad or buttons combination, OR control it blindly, without even reaching into your pocket, with the headset remote.
3. Yeah, just buy another device and decide each time you leave your home which one are you gonna carry out with you. Or better, take them both, just in case.

Not necessarily. You could get
http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TX03-Super-Mini-025mW50mW200mW-Switchable-AIO-5_8G-72CH-VTX-600TVL-13-Cmos-FPV-Camera-p-1104884.html?rmmds=search
and just power it using a separate tiny 1S battery like the one from the JJRC H22. The JJRC H31 or XK X250 could lift this combination without breaking a sweat, so you're looking at about £40 to get in the air. The quad you linked looks like a significant upgrade on either of those, though.

>get this cheap transmitter that can be hacked to use DSM2
The Devo requires a lot of extremely fiddly soldering to get the most out of it so I pussied out and went with the Flysky FS-I6 which is extremely capable for the price, though it will limit which quads you can buy somewhat.

>As for the goggles, just get the cheapest one, should be around $40.
To my knowledge the EV800 is the one still recommended in the "I want to spend as little as possible" price bracket at about £45. Comes with an internal battery. They are big box type goggles though so you will look like a fucking retard with them on instead of a super cool matrix blade runner like yours.

>The only thing that will upgrade receiver range is diversity, but the cheapest I've seen that is $160
Keep an eye on the VR-D2 Pro which is about to come out. If it doesn't have any crippling flaws then diversity and a DVR for £65 looks like a pretty good deal.

My advice is this: You can turn any mp3 player into one with a clip by glueing a peg to it.
You could try a Ruizu X02, life on those is at least 2 years (battery loses capacity fairly rapidly.)
As for size- things that take microSDs usually support FAT32 only. You can format any microSD to fat32 and it'll load just fine. Downside is no files larger than 4GB, but for music that's not even close to a problem.
The market for $30 mp3 players is pretty bad. There's no clip+. There's no rockbox.
Except the Xduoo X3. It (apparently) has beta-rockbox support (you'd need to look in the forums and active development areas to find it). The button placement is garbage. Seriously, if this thing had a button layout that wasn't garbage it'd almost be the new clip+. I've heard rumours that battery life on rockbox isn't so good right now. I've heard.

If you can find rockbox software for it then consider it a contender.

You're right, but that was just an example, I'm willing to spend about 50-60 if I think it's worth it.

>>

The only reason it wouldn't be is if there's some code in the software that can't handle the number 128 because they were never expecting to have that much in fat32.

Read the end of the previous thread. I bought a pair of $2 cat eyes for my gf, they were okay for some weeks and then the chrome plated plastic hinges literally fell apart. Also bought a pair of ray bans for myself for $14 and they are really of similar quality like the originals I had (something like 2010 model). Accidentaly ordered mirror version though with a strange square pattern on the glasses. Ironically enough the fake case is of better quality than the real one I had. Listings of knockoffs come and go very quickly, don't expect the seller to be around by the time you recieve your item.

I'd rather buy a chink brand with minimal branding if I'd do it again desu.

Devices with better quality components and ability to power less sensitive headphones are in some cases superior to devices with inferior quality components and less capable amplifiers yes.
It's fairly straightforward and there is no magic involved here, it's pure physics.
Proving that some headphones will not perform correctly on smartphones is fairly easy on the other hand, you just need to measure headphone SPL (measured in db per mW) and figure out how much power can unit provide.
By the way I would never spend this kind of money on portable shit, but I can at least understand why someone would want to.
Other than that there is issue of static noise and audio processing unit.
I would never spend this kind of money on portable shit, but I can at least understand why someone would want to.

I actually know people who spend hundreds of dollars on cables, and realize that burn in is a meme. That's the irony of this situation. Even some hardcore audiophools realize that something that has never been proved to be true is not true.

You either play music or any kind of noises, can be some kind of frequency sines, pink noise, whatever, and just set headphones aside. It's supposed to make headphones sound "better" but no one really knows why.
There is one proper way of burning in headphones and that's using them to do what they were designed to do - play music. But honestly despite everything I wrote about burn in in this thread, I really don't give a shit. Some people do it, and good for them. I never did. Whether you do it or not won't really change anything, because you can just use headphones and that's also "burn in", except it will take longer. Other way around, there is no harm in burn in either.

It has 12 Torx bits which is good for electronic repairs. You should have a size that fits all modern phones and tablets. There are a few flathead and phillips head bits, and there is one tri wing and one triangle shaped bit. There is also a pin bit used for removing SIM trays

The bit of metal that keeps the bits in place in the case might need squishing with a pair of pliers. I shook it a little bit and one of the bits fell out.

Once in the screwdriver it's self, they're really secure. One big downfall of this set is that the bit isn't magnetic.

>>
>>59999890
In the Philippines, the post office would send an SMS when you're packet arrives and charges you $2 for each package that you collect. For example, I bought 5 orders from different shops during 11.11, I had to fork out an additional $10 so I can get the discounted chinkshit that I got with free shipping. Also the registered mail is slower by 1 week compared to the untracked China small packet shipping.

their explanation is literally
>because of the increasing number of online international shoppings, we are having an increased traffic of 'small packages'
so basically, they're admitting they're doing this just to be jews. It's even regardless of where it comes from, so even EU packages get charged.
As other anons said, if it doesn't fit into your mailbox, they'll leave a note saying you can pick it up at the office, only now they or the mailman charge you for it

Burn in is real, sort of. There's proof after thousands of hours of use normal speakers will sound different, but this isn't necessarily a good change. I wonder if the burn in phenomena is from some sensitive parts of headphones that actually die because no one designed them to be run for multiple days straight at once with "pink noise"
>>

My Benjie S5 does sound better and can play louder than my S7e. The S7 is known for having shit audio components. Wish I still had my S3 and S4 to compare.

I got this one last week. It's a spare and I haven't really used it much but it seems fine. There are 6 sizes to choose from, mine is the 700mm one. One thing I notice is it has a very strong rubber smell, it will take a bit of time before it goes away.

Hopefully it's the Snapdragon version at least? Start by getting the bootloader unlocked, either officially by applying for a permission from Xiaomi or unofficially if you'd rather not wait for that.
