I changed it a bit, moved around my audio equipment and moved the PDA to the left so it's aligned with the middle of the monitor, it looks slightly neater now and the PDA is easier to see. I haven't taken out my proper camera to take a decent picture though.

Frankly i'm pretty happy with it, wire management could be better for sure but I don't really feel any motivation to change it, it doesn't bother me really.

Thanks. There's a park right across the road and the room is on the 1st floor, so yeah I get a pretty decent view. It's not anything amazing though.

The only part of the wire management that kind of irks me are the cables going to the DAC. The power cable and the inputs are on the same side as the input selector, so I'm forced to have it this way around because I use the selector switch. The cables to the right under the monitor aren't visible normally, the screen hides them.

About the portrait monitor, it's pretty sweet for web browsing, reading PDFs and manga/comics. You can do without one though, I had an older screen sitting around and I just preferred to put it in use rather than have it gather dust or selling it for way less than what I paid when I got it.

I should learn to take better pictures too, I wasn't able to get the room lighting and the brightness of the monitors in the right balance, it obviously doesn't look quite like that in reality.

It was twenty bucks and I'm a cheap bastard as the specs indicate. Considering most old games are made for 4:3 and lower than 1080p I think the CRT is worthwhile, especially considering how bad a panel with disabled scaling looks.

Oh and thanks, I like to think it's a nice budget system among all the 7700K+1080 builds.

idk I got three PCs for gaming and a laptop. you've seen my main, my XP machine has an athlon xp 4200+, GTX 280, and, 4GB of RAM. The W98 machine is a Duron of some kind and 512MB of RAM, all I can remember. It has a Radeon of some sort.

Nah, I guess I got some small amount of knowledge simply by hearing about it in various places and then asked my dad about it, he's no expert by any means either but used to like taking photos when he was younger, so he knew a bit. Then I just messed with the camera's settings in full manual mode and just compared how each shot came out.
