Hey /ptg/. I am want to join some smaller trackers like OT and MTv. I take a lot of pride in my home server setup, and pay monthly for a vps on a well known provider similar to digital ocean.

I want to try and avoid running a dedicated seedbox on a no-name provider. Can I run my setup from home? I have 150/75 and it is pretty fast, but I am worried about personal security and my ISP getting testy. Should I be worried? if not, would my VPS provider get pissed from the traffic hitting my server?

Torrents costs carats
It's usually 1 carat = 1mb. So a 10mb torrent will cost 10 carats
You earn carats by having a torrent available to upload. You don't have to actually upload to earn.
I think you earn like 1% of the torrents cost per hour. Or .1% I dunno.
It adds up quickly if you keep your client open 24/7.
I have like 500k carats right now and I earn 175 carats per hour
But yeah. It's a really nice system because it becomes so hard to upload obscure torrents and shit
