Why get a 6700K? The 7700K has bugfixes and overclocks better, even if it doesn't have any IPC improvements.

Are two drives in a RAID 1 configuration just normally-formatted drives whose parity is checked periodically? I want to transfer my drives from a small hardware RAID enclosure to a server with more space and then build a software array.

I use Windows 8 as my OS.
I ran Mint from a USB and then ran a full scan of all my drives using Clam AV, it detected a bunch of Trojans in my Firefox cache. Google says that since they are in the cache there is no problem, is that correct?
If so, how can I stop them from getting there in the first place?
