The cheaper way to fix a shattered screen is to use a heat gun on the screen to separate the glass from the display and then glue a new glass on. It's way more complicated to do and the end result isn't always perfect, that's why if you take a phone to an official repair place they will pretty much always just replace the whole screen.

It's really comfy and makes you feel like you truly own the phone, i've also noticed the battery life has drastically improved from when the phone was "stock", from 5 hours SoT to 7-8 and weeks standby, if you're curious about the phone it's a galaxy s5 running marshmallow aosp.

So after a 28 day long delivery, I finally got my Zuk 2 and it is fantastic.

The speaker isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it's not what I'd call a good speaker either.
The phone feels extremely comfortable in my hand and is easy to reach all corners and the one button gimmick works extremely well.
The back is a smudge covered piece of glass that looks pretty nice and works well if you have coarse hands, but the paranoia's high for scratching with such a large surface. Brightness is no problem, but the phone can get extremely dark on it's lowest setting, which I find nice personally for indoors.
Battery life is good.
Quality of the side buttons feel firm and is pretty satisfying to press.

My question, though, is why are there so many complaints about the UI and translation being poor? I purchased mine through banggood (I know, bad move) and the UI seems perfect, though a little quirky so I'm wondering if they put their own custom rom on the phones?
