Updated my Zuk Z2 Pro to Nougat yesterday, really happy.

Battery life is a little better.
Camera is much better in low light
Manual camera controls
FP is more accurate on wet/moist fingers
Bluetooth device battery stat now shows in status bar

Those are just what I've noticed from the one day using it.

Anyone interested in low light shots I took?
They're not the best, but for the price I paid for this phone I'm really happy with the results.

V20 is god tier phone assuming it won't bootloop, on one right now.

Zuk z2 owner here gonna make a quick review.
Screen is meh.
build quality is okish ( broke the sims card slot when U pulled it the first time but the rest is okay).
Audio is good.
camera is okay.
battery life is good but not that good
it heats a lot.
it is actually not that much faster than my old oneplusone.
software wise ZUI is shit so I put RR but will probably try lineage and dirty unicorn and it triggers the shit out of my autism that u-touch doesn't work well with custom ROM.
So overall the phone is good for its price but I'm not sure I would have bought it if it was more expensive.

I have the bricked S7 from hell. I can still get into download mode, but I've tried so many different ways of flashing it back to the stock OS and Odin just fails every time. Nowhere on the internet has been of any help and I'm considering just shelling out to get it replaced.

Let me preface this by saying I don't really use my phone for anything besides web browsing and watching anime during lunchbreaks at work. I used to have an HTC One S that I really liked, the size was good, performance was okay for the time and the design was really beautiful in my opinion. I'm not a spec whore at all so I'm currently using an Amazon Fire Phone running Cyanogenmod (got it like a year and a half ago for $80)

What's the modern day equivalent to said HTC One S in both design, market position and price? I dropped my phone for the first time today and while it was just fine I figured I should have a plan in case this thing gets busted.

There seems to be a very divided opinion about this phone.

On the one hand lots of people are raving about it because it has near flagship-level specs for $200 and everything works pretty reliably (especially when rooted)

On the other hand some say that all the specs mean nothing and it's a piece of crap IRL.

Anyone have any personal experience with the phone?

Can anyone recommend a phone with better performance or specs for around the same price?

It looks like it works super well from all the YouTube reviews I've seen.

Currently have a Meizu MX5, the screen is split in two in the middle so, although it still works perfectly and the crack is hardly visible when looked at from the front, I'm checking my options for a replacement.

I've had my Oukitel K6000 Pro since Tuesday.
Took it off charge Wednesday morning... it's now 5pm on Friday and I've still got 73% battery.
That's fucking insane.
I mean I've not been using it a great amount to be fair... but that's still pretty fucking impressive.

If you're interested in specs alone, you can get a Redmi 4 Pro or Redmi Note 4X (Snapdragon version) with exactly the same chipset for half the price or less. The battery of my Nexus 4 is slowly giving up after ~4.5 years, so I'm starting to look for alternatives.

I had it all configured perfectly. No Gapps. KISS launcher. Cyanogenmod. Nice screen size. Totally acceptable performance. The only problem was the battery life, and how it's coming to an extreme, where I'm wasting 1-2% every 10 minutes with my screen off.

Since I don't want to replace the battery (again), I wanted to ask, if someone could recommend a phone, somewhere in the 100-200$/Euro price range, that would be somewhat comparable to the Nx4. No useless gimmicks, no root-lock and possibly an replaceable battery.

I've been looking at the Moto G for a while, but since I haven't payed attention for a while now, I was wondering whether /g/ might have a better suggestion.
