Finally got into BTN through an invite from a friend a few days ago and it's been long enough that I think I can offer commentary:

Holy shit this is so much better than MTV or other sites. I found the TehC > PTP "upgrade" to be fairly meaningless and often use TehC over PTP still but BTN is leagues better.

If you can get into BTN and like TV, do it. Ratioless and their bonus point system is great from what I can tell. Downloaded 2TB over a couple nights and no ratio watch rubbish.

I know I am often hesitant to use it because it means I need to run a second torrent client on top of the main one I use for seeding to all the other trackers, right pain in the ass it is and ensures I stop seeding as soon as I feel I can get away with as well. Might be willing to deal with it if the content there made up for the inconvenience but so far it's been pretty limited, probably because a lot of other people who would otherwise be uploading stuff got arbitrarily filtered out too.

Been using KeePass with randomized passwords individualized for each site since Blackcats got their database leaked. Using dropbox to synchronize my key file over works well, more secure than most similar online solutions as well. (As long as you use a sufficiently secure master key in case someone gets a hold of that.)

I figure if someone manages to get a hold of my database file AND my master key I was probably fucked no matter what I did, so I don't consider that a legitimate danger. Only thing that really changes in that scenario is they find everything at once rather than waiting to see it bit by bit as I visit sites.

It has occurred to me, but the thing is I have 4 systems currently authenticated on Dropbox. PC, laptop, tablet, and phone. So even if I lose access on one, I can download my database from another and my authentication should stay valid unless someone goes on and manually kills it. the vast majority of BDs of movies made on film are shit masters. just go sifting through the 1080p GPs of movies filmed prior to the 2000s. there are some that look spectacular, but those are few and far between. it really seems as if the "judges" can't tell the difference between noise and grain.
here's a screenshot straight from the description of the most recent one. i'm not well-versed in video to the point of being able to explain it technically, but it's quite obvious that this looks like shit. the rest of the screenshots also look like absolute shit, but this is one of two that don't make me want to carve my eyes out of their sockets. i'm not even sure if this passes as 720p.

this is straight out of the wiki. i'm pretty sure to anyone who cares, a "high quality encode" is one that is not only similar to the source, but also compressed to the greatest extent possible. who cares if the source is shit? just don't encode it at 1080p when it clearly doesn't need to be. if not, then why isn't everything GP? you can just max out the bitrate because clearly no one gives a shit as to whether or not it's 6gb or 30. i might as well just download a remux.
also, i believe you when you say "transparent to the source", but if it's really "transparent to the source", then why the hell are there multiple GPs for BDs? there's no point to having 3 releases of the same BD if they're all transparent. if the 576p release is transparent, then why even have the others?

They took the picture , then sent me the gallery pic three messenger . Its galaxy s7edge that it was taken and sent from .
