How big is your memory card in your phone?
How big is your memory card in your phone?
I have a note 4 with 32g of internal. I just bought it last month, upgraded from an s3. anyways for whatever reason i decided I wanted a memory card for it today so I went out and bought a 64G patriot. I had originally intended to get a 128 but I wasn't prepared to pay... I think it was $59 cad iirc.
I'm just curious what size other people use in their phones I'm kind of regretting not just splurging for the 128 now but its just autism I'll never fucking fill 64....
with 9GB free
mostly have it full of tv shows and movies
i have like 2GB of gba and DS roms in it to
i probably wouldn't need that if i had a faster internet connection at home or unlimited data on my phone, so i could stream everything
I use a 64gb one, mainly filled with music and videos. I don't really see what you would use 128gb for unless you keep a chinese cartoon/TV series stash there.
What if it fails, anon?
My internal memory is 600 megabytes.
I have no memory card.
Only filled it with the most essential movies/animu and music. Kind of wishing I had gotten the 128GB one now, storage space will become scarce as I download more movies/animu on my unlimited lte connection.
I almost did too.
Like I said I just got my note 4 last month and while my phone is new obviously its not a new model, but I loved my s3 and wanted to stick with Samsung and the note 4 really seemed like the most satisfying option to me.
opie how do you feel about a flash drive with male micro usb in addition to normal usb?
i got a 64gb one for like $16 and it fits in my s6 for when i need offline music or annie moos. sandisk, actually. and it's usb 3.0 so pretty fast.
128GB SD card....sale, $60, worth it
i have a phone with 32gb of internal storage. filled it up quickly, mostly with pictures and videos of my dogs because she only had a few more months to live.
i have a 64gb micro sd card that works right now and i'd really like to have a backup of my backups (weird, i know lol), in case one of them fails. so ive looked into the cloud.
is there any cloud service that would allow me to backup around 10gb to 15gb for free?
I actually just encrypted my new SD before I made this thread.
I lost an unencrypted phone with a bunch of personal shit on it before and lost a month of my life crying over it. It had a pass code but still that don't mean shit. I encrypt everything now as soon as I get it.
Im on lollipop though so I can't help much with ,marshmallow people problems sorry. There must be a way tho...
You picked a good phone. S6 edge is *okay*, but the lack of removable battery and SD card really irks me. On top of that, it's really not too fast when you do anything above basic tasks on it, and I never even use the edge features.
nah, it's from burgerland. From boost mobile specifically.
I do that too kind of I have a wired adapter thing you plug into your phone micro and then you can plug any USB into it I use for media but I mostly use that on my tablet but thats why its good just to have an adapter you can use any USB stick on any device.
It formats and encrypts the SD but then if you add files, turn off the phone, remove the mSD and open it in another device, all the data is visible and you can edit/delete it, so there's no difference with being unencrypted.
I think i'm stupid and overlooking something though.
Well that's frightening.... I'm going to have to check mine now to make sure the same shit isn't happening..
<3 my s3 for many years but the screen was cracked to fuck and would of cost 100 to repair, more than the price of the note 4 on my corporate contract with rogers which ill always be using anyways since its so cheap (for Ontario anyways)
>I'm going to have to check mine now to make sure the same shit isn't happening
Please report back, if encryption works for you i'm going to flash the fuck out of a Lollipop rom right now.
OK, I took the encrypted card out of my note 4 and put it into my Acer tablet and the tablet would not mount the SD card, couldn't access it at all. Then i put it back on my phone and it worked fine. And I out my tablet mem card back in ,y tablet and it worked fine.
128GB MicroSD card with 32GB of internal storage on my Moto X Pure Edition.
Almost all of it is music with a few GBs of ROM backups.
Next time I'm not going to cheap out and get the cheapest storage. My 128GB Samsung evo cost like $65 but is slow as fuck. About 9 MB/s write and 20 MB/s read.
