Who is your ISP? How much are you paying and for what?
>$32.00 per month
>Fiber straight to the house
>No cap but I do notice around 4AM download speed tanks to 10mb/s for about half an hour.Probably their maintenance time.
>Bright House Networks
>$160~ (this includes TV, Internet and Phone. I haven't actually looked at my bill in over a fucking year.)
>110/10 (I think it's advertised at 120/10, but you know, cable).
>Cable to our apt.
>Uncapped though, which is nice.
So /g/ if you had to choose one would you take an enforced Data cap with great speeds or no data cap with shitty speeds?
That's not even really a question, slow speed/no cap. What good is high speeds with a cap?
Fortunately, despite the memes, there are still plenty of ISPs in the States that are high speed/no cap. It's just that Comcast/AT&T have those caps and that they service a whole lot of people.
>012 (kikeland ISP)
>About 25$ per month
>no fucking cap at all
>Better then paying for cable TV that costs 70$ per month for a basic package
Though for the past month or so i've been having a boatload of issues, router disconnecting every 5 minutes and very bad latency issues between 6pm and 12am every day.
So far they couldn't find any solution. But i;m moving in a month so it'll be next owners issue anyhow.
>$95.00 per month
>6Mb/s / 448kb/s
>ADSL1 rural plan
>If you exceed your 500GB monthly usage allowance in a month, your broadband service will be slowed down to 256kbps for all usage for the rest of that month until your next billing cycle begins (but you won’t be charged extra for use).
>read this thread
>decide to look at offers on my cable provider's website
>mfw i found a package for 6x faster internet for $100 less
>8$ per month
>cable and dynamic ip
This is actually a 7 year old plan so it costs more than it should. Could cancel phone and tv as I don't really use tv and phone anymore and get 50/10 for same price (maybe less), but can't be bothered with it tbqh.
>usually 110/3, doesn't go lower than 90/2.5
It's okay. I really wish they'd do something about the upload, it's the fastest speed they offer to anyone not on fiber.
Damn thats good Anon.
OP here, forgot to mentioned that mine is also uncapped. If anyone is in Kansas or California, hook yourself up with CCI/Surewest. Good contract deals, no bullshit, actually decent customer service. Far better than Cockcast or ATITS&TITS
>FREE (as in $0)
I've actually had no real problems with Comcast. My brother stopped paying the cable bill after he moved out over 2 years ago. They disconnected our cable TV but we've had free Internet for like 2 years now. I feel like I'm in that episode of The Wire where the feds/cops are keeping us connected to monitor my traffic.
>Who is your ISP? How much are you paying and for what?
>$81.00 per month
> Verizon Fios
> about $95 after modem rental and taxes
You're getting fucked.
