It'd be pretty painful to accomplish, you'd have to refresh the entire board every few seconds and search through it for the thread you wanted.

There's no stream to latch onto when it comes to Vichan, all the data is served up as is with JSON.

If it used JSOINP you might be able to accomplish that a lot easier.

I was about to suggest a feature that could be valuable, but I'm not entirely sure if it's good or not, I was thinking that maybe you could add a non-default option or a button to sort posts by reply count, it would come in handy to avoid skimming over threads with 200+ replies, obviously I'm not trying to turn this into reddit or anything similar, but usually, posts with high reply count are good contributions to the thread or controversial.

Yes, I was talking about sorting the posts within a thread based on reply count, I think it is a double edged sword because it could increase shitposting or turn this into some kind of reddit spinoff among a small part of the userbase because it changes the nature of how threads are displayed and information is perceived, but at the same time it is useful when you want to save time when looking at threads.

This is the second time launching the application, and I've got some questions about features.
1. In v1 I could slide thread to the right, browse the catalog and bring the thread back from the right. In v2 I can slide the thread to the right, browse the catalog and then what? Can't bring the thread back from the right. Am I missing something?
2. Where's the "jump to bottom/top" button? Does material design dictate you gotta scroll through everything?
3. When I went to reply to your post, the drop down menu said "quote" and not "reply" and had a stupid moment. Design-wise, don't you think the text should reflect the one on the 4chan website?
4. Entering wrong captcha moves you back to the reply instead of the next captcha. Why?
5. Is there something different about pictures' loading?
6. Is there a way in the captcha implementation to determine it should favor text over numbers? Numbers are very difficult to "nigger". In the browser, if you submit some text to a number captcha you are more likely to get text captcha in the next one. Here, I'm not sure even that works.

The reply window being stuck to the top is pretty cool. gg.

Image loading is also fucked, the app freezes while trying to load a image instead of the good ole' loading circle.

I also miss the ability to look on the thread list whilst having one open, not having to close the current thread to look for another

The issues and suggestions that were given in this thread are noted.
The top/bottom button is clearly not the way to go, and I will make a better solution for it.
Also the reply box should go back to the captcha and not the input on a bad captcha, I will also fix that.

v2 is great. I just hope you can implement an image gallery view for threads. For instance, when I'm browsing an ass thread in /s/, I'm not interested in the discussion but just the pictures. You already sort of have this with the download album option. Just modify that to work like a gallery.
