> still using PC (Poor man's Computer)
What is your excuse /g/?
>not running Rich OS on your Poor man's Computer
>Paying premium for subpar components in a """slim""" package
> 16GB of RAM STANDARD
> quad-core i7 + Iris Pro graphics
> fastest PCIe SSD in the industry
> "huuur durrr paying premium for subpar components duuuurr"
Fucking poor-men, always complaining.
Recently bought a pentelobe driver to open up my rMBP of a few years. It's a fucking marvel of design and engineering inside. I was sorta' disappointed that it hadn't collected any dust, so there was no reason to open it.
>16GB of RAM STANDARD
Nope. 2013 and before had 4 gig standard and for recent models it's 8.
> quad-core i7
Again, not for the base model
> Iris Pro graphics
literally intel's buzzword to justify jewing
> have to remove the logic board
lol no, he didn't even touch the logic board on the video lol, are you pretending to be retarded or are you actually retarded?
> Nope. 2013 and before had 4 gig standard and for recent models it's 8.
We are talking about the 15 inch, which comes with 16GB standard fag.
> Again, not for the base model
every 15 inch macbook comes with a quad-core i7
> literally intel's buzzword to justify jewing
Now that's a good poor-man's argument.
Think about it as something you'll probably be using for at least 3 years. That's under a buck fifty a day.
Thinking about it that way, I sorta' regret not buying a maxed out MBP.
Again , WATCH the video with SOUND ON.
The batteries are glued on.
You can't remove them just like that.
First you have to dissolve the glue (or sticky pads as he calls them) and pry them loose one by one.
It looks easy becasue he already loosened the batteries, which is the hard part.
at least thinkpads are assembled by people who know how to use a screwdriver, unlike macbooks
Everything is relative, isn't it?
A poor person will think $2000 is a lot of money and will prioritize spending.
Someone that's better-off financially will think $2000 isn't really that much money.
Do you not understand this, and how much it says about you?
Do you have an extra 21st chromosome or something?
Hold the FUCKING PHONE. That Macbook pro doesn't even have a dedicated graphics card?
Literally into the trash.
Lenovo G570. Upgraded CPU to i7, ram to 8GB, 512GB ssd as boot, 2TB samsung as data. I have also replaced the full casing, as it suffered from the lenovo hinge problem. Reinforced hinges with 6 M3-16 bolts, nylock nuts. Added internal hub with a 600mbs network card and dstv receiver, tucked into the optical drive caddy.
Macbook pro, late 2008. Upgraded to 8gb ram, boot drive is 256gb ssd, data drive is 1tb samsung, scratch drive is 128gb expressport.
Also modded bottom shell with 2 vents for extra cooling, with removable filters.
I have no major complaints. They just work great for me.
>inb4 yadda yadda old tech, win vs. mac meme, muh gaymes
Even if I had 4000$+ to spend on 2 bleeding edge laptops, I would rather spend the cash on something else. I simply do not need anything better than what I have.
Nope. On my old macbook I used SSD's, USB 3.0 adaptors and a card reader.
You probably just don't have the mindset to actually search for the correct drivers or installation methods, or you probably bought cheap chink shit which wouldn't work on any laptop, regardless of manufacturer.
Dont feel bad, you're just not a tech person. I'm sure there are other things you are good at.
>implying that an apple retard would actually be intelligent enough to be able to modify their computer anyway
