On my phone, I usually use Firefox, but Chrome runs far better. If I browse 4chan on Firefox, there's a good chance I'll have to solve 20+ captchas before it times out. There's obviously something wrong there.

From my own experience (Galaxy S4 and now S5, so nothing that bad, really): Firefox on Android is unbearably laggy, slow and likes to crash a lot.

Is there really any other browser on Android aside from Firefox that is viable? I've tried Chrome and Opera, and they're both horse shit. Can't remember exactly why... probably poor handling of lots of tabs, and lack of ublock origin.

Firefox crashes constantly and 50% chance of losing all tabs when my battery dies (which is a lot cause the shitty battery is old and gives incorrect readings - yes I have calibrated it) and losing tabs causes me to rage pretty hard. I can't believe Mozilla hasn't fixed that tab loss shit yet.

It still seems better than the other Android browsers however, sadly.

Just use Adguard, the free version creates a local VPN to block ads on browser traphic, it will block ads on any browser and you wont need to root your phone for adaway

Just recently switched from deteriorating Chrome to fast and functional Opera for all devices. Edge for anything Opera can't handle

Bought the paid version of Lightning with my free google imaginary funbux from Opinion Rewards.

It's a really fast and good browser, love the way favorites and tabs are drawers that open by swiping from the left/right.

Also the adblock is nice because I don't root my phone.

Chrome. I don't care about the botnet or whatever, it's just convenient to link it to my Google account.

On mobile I use Firefox, since when I first used mobile chrome I wasn't able to install adblock extensions. Maybe it's changed since then, I dunno
