I wanted to see if I could get a "good" pc for cheap by buying used.

So far I got:

i5 2500k (with stock cooler) - 50 €
Gainward GeForce GTX 750 Ti - 90 €
Mainboard Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3-B3 - 30 €
2x4 GB Kingston 1333 ram - 30 €
Thermaltake Litepower 450W - 20 €
500GB Western Digital HDD Blue - 10 €

So in total 230 €, for a pc that could handle even newer games. Should I invest in a better gpu rather? Which one?

What do you say?

I'll be reusing one of my old pc case
>>
idk man, you're obviously on a budget, but the best video card you can afford.

But with that said, isn't there a point where you would worry about the 2500 bottlenecking a higher end GPU?

In other news, try this on /wsr/, most of the elites pricks here will just ignore this thread.

The 2500k shouldn't theoretically bottleneck any current gpu + the cpu could be overclocked if I invest in a better cooler.

Depends on what you're doing with it I guess.

If youre gaming and have a decent monitor a better GPU would make sense.

90 euros seems pretty steep forms used 750... that's like 250 Canadian pesos I think

That power supply delivers 13/14 amps on the 12v rails, the GPU needs 20amps.

Double check that the graphics card uses two power conectors and not one or the PSU won't be up to scratch.

It's a 750ti, it shouldn't need a PSU connector at all.

Don't skimp on the PSU. Even a Corsair CX will do, since you're not running high-end hardware.
