What's the fedora of laptops?
How is that even a valid question?
pic related of course
those FSF-approved freedomized laptops stallman uses are patrician af mate.
thinkpads are nothing more than business laptops, they are meant to look as boring and not distracting as it's physically possible.
alienware are flashy bullshit only a manchild would consider appealing.
they are the hardware equivalent of pic related
A combination of these two is the most analogous to a fedora
oh my fucking god is that a mechanical keyboard?
Those dinosaur things all those weebs in college use LMAO BAKA
Oh I study business myself and have a HP Elitebook.
Literally my entire class has Macbook air and 2 people a Macbook pro. They literally asked me how old the laptop was because it was so big.
what OS does richard stallman use? does he apt-get or pacman
Holy fuck if I seen that man in my neighbourhood doing that I would just assume he was doing something CP-related.
He may try be as inconspicuous when it comes to technology but he sticks out like a red thumb for real life situations. Holy fuck.
it's one of my favorite rms pictures
god damn anon that is a good one
It's not tiny, it a fucking huge lapotp
you got any more? think i should start up an rms folder
It's alright man. I'm not overweight, my hair is almost shoulder-length but I condition it everyday, my glasses are in alright condition, I don't own any fingerless gloves, but the only shorts I own are cargo shorts..
Gookpads are 'enterprise' tier so they don't gleam fedora unless they're 4:3 or pre 2000
Alienware, Razer, and anything marketed as gayming is the signature fedora
Apple definitely can be marketable to fedoras as well
It's a conspiracy to take away his freedum
I carry around an LG G8, bluetooth keyboard, and bluetooth mouse in an amazon basics laptop bag. I hate fedoras :(
I have one of the old Thinkpads BMW used in their garages to read errors and run tests on their cars. It's an ancient laptop, with some odd ports, but to this day it boots fine, even holds charge for an hour or so.
So not all are fedoras.
Oddly, the best laptop I've ever had (and still have) is a G3 powerbook, over 15 years old and still works fine.
Shame. A laptop made by neckbeards for neckbeards would be great. A machine that actually panders to freetards would be a knockoff Thinkpad, but instead we're stuck with knockoff Macbooks.
Yep, reading their crowdfunding page I see so many red flags.
>Buzzwords and flashy pictures eg killswitches and freedom from every angle
>Using intel i5 xxxxU processor
>Compares it to a bunch of laptop and software vendors on it's freedom
So sad, guess a massively modified X61 is the only freedoms we can have.
it's hopeless for modern x86 really
X200, X/T60 and a few other machines can only be freed to what would be considered a full extent
>How is the T61p freedumbs?
no libreboot support
Would you guys consider me part of the fedora tipping club? Quarter for scale.
The loud click-clack of a Mechanical keyboard is orgasmic. What would you have chosen?
>That kid with the cane and fedora in the grocery store
Fun fact, that kid went to high school with me.
