Except that actually worked.
IIRC the guy wrote a shitty hacked together driver to get USB1.1, it's all just for shits, the intermediary plugs are all passive adapters just passing along the USB pins to the last (cream/white) db25 dongle which was custom wired to go to the right pins for his parallel port driver.
The whole thing was an exercise in 'why the fuck not'

Who the fuck has an 8 page CV? For ANY job? Nobody's going to fucking hire you, into the trash it goes. Plus it's all text, in paragraph form. If you hire this person, you'll spend 15 minutes reading their emails until you find the information you need.
I hope they didn't get a job. I wouldn't hire them.
>>52538926
This didn't make me lose. It made me sad..
>>52540218
All joking aside, I feel that some audiophiles actually can "hear better" and that they will notice the difference. I know that a lot of audiophile shit is absolute snake oil and placebo but I'm sure some of it is warranted. I also truly believe that once you notice how good something can sound, you can't help but pay attention to how shit everything else sounds.
Personally, I think my oem car stereo and cassette adapter, turtle beach x12s, and memorex (eb310?) sound great but I know that they are all relatively low quality and if I upgrade, I'll have to upgrade everything to keep consistent. This same thing happened with my video horde. I used to download "SD" then I moved to "HD" and now I'm in the process of moving everything to 1080p and I know soon I'll be doing 4k.
It's terrible.

Not without their pebbles they can't.
The "audiophiles" argument is not about having actually good hardware and high quality media, it's about not paying 10 times the price of said good hardware because "it has soul" or whatever other "blocking water vain radiation" bullshit.
>>52539954
>usingLinux.webm
>>52540548
You're misquoting me. I used the word "some" because I'm confident that there exists better quality hardware able to produce a "better" sounding tone and people that can hear the difference between better hardware and shitty hardware. I used to do professional audio work and I could hear the difference between poorly compressed mp3s, well compressed mp3s, and actual audio cds but only with with the super expensive audio equipment and not with my piece of shit laptop or mp3 player.
Please don't assume that I mean magical cable pebbles or cable risers or some shit.

>>52545683
Technically his suicide could be construed as an act of martyrdom. Whether it was effective or not is a matter of opinion and in no way makes this turn of events funny.
Rather, it is sad if you consider his life was wasted because of a trivial (from other peoples' point of view) anecdote that shouldn't have caused more trouble than a heated argument and a short stay at the police station,
and it abhorrent if you consider the possibility of police corruption that contributed to his death and probably will contribute to covering up the truth of the events that took place.

I know. An heroing was a major fuck up. And from our perspective it seems so absurd and disproportional. But I read the collection of tweets when it happened and I have a strong suspicion that a real injustice was committed against him that the police have said nothing (and probably will never say anything) about what really happened.

Though back then virtually all touchscreen phones used a resistive screens that required a stylus and were very inaccurate. The iPhone came to the market with a capacitive screen and I remember what a giant transformation it was. I had a high end windows mobile phone, the HTC TyTN and my friend got an iPhone. The HTC felt prehistoric compared to it.
The new pen works as a auxiliary tool instead of something essential to use the device. You can still operate an iPhone, iPad or whatever apple shit with your fingers but if you want to draw something naturally you need a pen. Now that we have high resolution capacitive screens you can actually use a pen to create something nice.
I'm by no means an apple fan, I hate the company and all the faggy shit they do, but that picture just screams ignorance.
