Verizon shill, ask your questions. Nothing too technical. I am a salesman after all.

If you ask about the godamn fucking FIOS I hope you stop breathing in your sleep. We don't have it. We will never have it. I don't know fuck all about it. Shut up I don't know.

Well that is entirely unkind.

I will not lie to you anons. I won't give away my identity but I'll answer anything within the best of my knowledge.

I know for a fact I've helped at least 6 anons lower their bills through general questions they just never have brought up in person.

Absolutely fucking not. I used to work in the back end with customer service and tech support over the phone. The fact of it is this. 2% of you ruin it for the rest. Faggots running entire apartments and businesses off a device with unlimited means no unlimited for anyone. Oddly enough Verizon is one of the only major carriers to honor the "unlimited" plan. They are never throttled. Unlike sprint and others that keep their legacy plans but fuck them up the ass with 3G.

Sadly data is the only real metric to base plans on since minutes ans texts are hilariously tiny in comparison. However in November they made a change where unlimited plans can upgrade. So there is that.

>Eat a dick AT&T shill

No, you eat a dick.

We could have speeds like south korea if you kept your damn promises. Now it takes the combined effort of google fiber, AND the fcc to kick your ass out of slumber. and you still wont do shit.
>>
>>52502255
That's too bad. People feel cucked when they have to ration 5-10 GB of data carefully throughout the month.

I use up to 50GB of data a month on boost mobile and they don't give a fuck. Speeds are oddly consistent too (~20-30 Mbps). Either not many people live where I am or not a lot of people use sprint based networks.
>>
>>52502336
Sorry, cannot hear you over the sound of 41% of our monthly customers coming from AT%jew

Your service sucks cock. You never reinvested into expanding your towers.

>5-10gb is rationing
Yeah no sperg. Over 90% of the average user uses 3gb. You are an autistic flare on the metric. If we don't keep your business while giving you huge gains for near none profits. Woe is us. I am sure there is a small upcoming networking company that will give you 4G speeds with unlimited data for cheap.

This is from bumfuck nowhere on Verizon. Trying to find the speedtest from when I was in NYC back in October, it was <50mbps IIRC.
>>
>>52502592

Best I ever saw a phone pull when I sold Verizon for radioshack was 25mb down and 12 up, and I only saw numbers that high once. Of course that was over 4 years ago now.

Out of curiosity why don't you run testmy.net or some other service where we might end up with inflated numbers. Its 2016, we stopped trucking ookla results years ago.

>>
>>52502395

T-mobile sells unlimited data (first 5 GB use 4g LTE) only $30
and works with any GSM phone

I really feel bad for people who pay $100+/m for Verizon service.
They use CDMA to keep their users tied only to their network.
And its hard if not impossible to get them to unlock their phones.
Locked bootloader in most cases. cant flash new ROMs for months if not years until someone finds a hack
Disabled FM radios.
The list goes on and on...
>>
>>52503044

I have this plan. I've had it for over two years now. It's an amazing plan. But if you go over that 5GB good fucking luck. Best I got after that 5GB was 64k/s If I was lucky enough to have the webpage load at all.

I know but my fast speeds come with a catch. I have to be connected to 3 lte bands at once (Spark LTE) so speeds will vary. Still having speeds above 20 Mbps is still breddy gud I guess.

So far I've been getting these speeds in my town most of the time so I guess sprint really got its shit together and is upgrading their networks greatly.

Hope more people on sprint networks get speeds like this. Spark LTE isn't everywhere but sprint says they'll keep expanding it as time goes on.

pic related is a test with a more stable connection.
>>
>>52502930
Because verizon can't into carrier aggregation so their lte networks quickly become saturated.

It's time to leave verizon behind forever, they just couldn't keep up.

>>
>>52503162

Sprint has been promising large expansion since the Wimax days. I'll believe it when I see it. I'll admit it's a lot better these days then when I worked for Sprint as a repair tech. I was lucky to get 2mb down and 1mb up back in 2012 and we were the third largest Sprint deployment in the State.

>Hope more people on sprint networks get speeds like this. Spark LTE isn't everywhere but sprint says they'll keep expanding it as time goes on.
They fucking better. sprint lte here in pennsylvania sucks balls, barely getting 4mbps on this shitty network. Might switch if they don't don't upgrade their shit here.

Speedof.me has different results. I'm about 60 miles away from Atlanta.

I would rather have higher ping and higher speeds. I don't even notice it anyway.

I honestly don't remember. I remember the reps talking with us about downplaying Wimax and 4G deployments and the answer to give the customers was always "sometime next year buy this phone to be ready"

Eventually most of my time got taken up by fixing 20 HTC EVO's a day that needed to be retired and telling Nextel customers that the shutdown was a good thing and their coverage was going to improve. (it didn't because there were no sprint towers where these customers had nextel towers and the sprint spectrum had abysmal underground/through metal building performance unlike nextel two-way.

Then suddenly it was LTE IS COMING BABY and then a few years went by and it finally started to slowly show up. Still can't get over 5mb down on a good day.

So T-mobile has actually been busy deploying Wideband LTE? Cool, now users get to choose between two carriers for unlimited super high speed lte.

Verizon doesn't seem to be doing so well with lte speeds right now lol.

Do you enjoy your job?

I work for T-Mobile so I think I have to hate you by principle, OP. The one I work at is literally right across the street from a Verizon and we're constantly making eyes at eachother, making throat-slitting motions. It's very dramatic.
>>
>>52503774
But he's right though, verizon is becoming less and less relevant each year. Bankruptcy is not out of the question.

Doesn't really mean much when they don't have the balls to sell uncapped fast lte. Verizon really fucked up when they stopped offering those kinds of plans.
