Hi /g/. So since I've heard TC is not secure anymore I tried to figure out what encryption tool I should use (mostly to encrypt some of my 4GB flash drives).

What tools would you recommand and why ?

Yeah, well can you elaborate on that ? I do want to trust you since I'm used to TC, but who am I supposed to follow when I read here and there that the tool has been audited to reveal some flaws. Also, the dev said :

"WARNING: Using TrueCrypt is not secure as it may contain unfixed security issues"

I'm not really fond of cryptography so my knowledge is very limited thus why I'm seeking informed advices here.

The last time truecrypt was audited for security issues they found nothing. The program has not been altered since then so as far as anyone knows it is still fine.

They were just covering their asses with that message since it could at some point in the future be insecure since it won't be updated.

Ok so I guess I've started freaking out for nothing.

Why do you encrypt?
I don't think anyone on this board can decrypt it.
It's compromised in terms of nsa, eavesdropping, etc. It's safe for grandma.

I want to encrypt my corporate documents mostly.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
