Has anybody here had much experience with Chromebooks? I was thinking of getting one and dual-booting some sort of Linux distro and playing around with it, as well as maybe some basic coding.
What are peoples thoughts?

WHO in their right mind would even bother to buy useless pieces of plastic like these Chrome Books? Also, giving money to the botnet? are you fucking insane?
Because you can buy them for like $100-150 refurbished, which isn't bad.
OP, like >>52488130 , I have a Toshiba Chromebook 2 2014. I like it. I wiped off ChromeOS though, and put xubuntu on it (you need to open it up to remove a jumper and flash a new bios onto it, but the process for doing those things is relatively simple).
