Fuck all. A few watts doesn't even put a dent in your bill. HDDs use about 6-7W while SSDs use about 3-5W.

I actually just bought a mSATA SSD for my laptop, it gets solid 500MiB/s.

Completely overrated. It is slightly faster on startup than before, but I notice no difference when actually running my machine. Everything I access is almost always already cached in RAM.

I want my 60$ back.
