To tape or not to tape?
Is the sticky residue hard to get rid off?
>Not getting turned on by the idea of someone hacking into your webcam and watching you masturbate
Only 20%? I'm pretty sure there's a lot more people who do that where I work
I just unplugged the camera from motherboard, not so much for privacy reasons but because all linux distros I tried would turn the camera on during boot and not turn it off. Unplugging it was the easiest way to fix the problem.
Because I don't know how and wasn't going to be sticking with one distro to figure it out, most of the time I simply boot on live environment never really install a distro.
Don't use the webcam anyway, its shit.
no tape, disabled in BIOS
>inb4 it's still enabled hurr durr
no, it doesn't show up anywhere. the device is gone. and if someone had the ability to manipulate your device in a way that would hide the device from you, you're fucked either way.
Something like 10 years ago aged 11 I saw a really obscure YouTube vid of a Mexican using some Netdevil-like program and tapping into webcams. He had >6000 computers in his list and switched through a few. Spooked me so bad that to this day I can't masturbate in the same room as an IoT device.

Masturbating is the least of your concerns then anon. You should have a paranoia level like Ed Snowden.
This, plenty of customers here had their webcams taped like that, paranoid fucktards, I bet they get the fake goverment virus that put your image live on cam asking for money.
Yeah, you'd think its disabled, but I shit you not my Toshiba craptop has a disable webcam option in its bios, but it still shows up in the device manager and is completely accessible to any software. I don't know if its a bug or they did this on purpose.
Did you even read my comment? It does show up in there and any application, media players and shit can use it. And it isn't a black screen either, it a motherfucking working webcam, even tho its disable bin the bios.
I'm starting to think they did this on purpose.
>yes silly goy, its totally disabled, see? Nothing to worry about :^)
>t. Toshiba support
wat. as a i stated in my first post, >>52454218 IF IT DOESN'T SHOW UP in device manager etc., then it's fine.
obviously if it does show up, for whatever reason, then it's not really disabled. i never said you should just disable it and blindly trust in your BIOS. which is what i repeated in >>52456017
Why not just put a bandaid over it so when you need the camera it isnt sticky with glue?
OK, I understand, I was just making an example that you should indeed always check in device manager, as apparently it does happen that disabling shit at bios level doesn't even work.
Rubbing alcohol works best.
I like the smell of my cats back. I think thats where a lot of the good smelly cat pheromones/body oder maybe I think are at. Might also have to do with that cat parasite thats in their poop/saliva that tricks your brain into liking the smell being attraced to it.
Do you think i talk to myself? "Oh boy I'd love some good ol' CP right about now!"
Or do you perhaps think that my laptop uses some kind of ultrasonic sonar technology to scan and model its surroundings?
>>Not getting turned on by the idea of someone hacking into your webcam and watching you masturbate
yea a few weeks ago i wrote a long story about that in a thread like this but everyone ignored it
