Jesus, its like you went to a convention on how to build a computer being run by 16 year olds.
Msi is not a good brand when you have asus, gigabyte and xfx (for gpus).
Main board: Asus or Gigabyte
Gpu for nvidia: Galax, Gigabyte, Zotac or XFX
Gpu for Amd: Sapphire, XFX or Gigabyte
PSU: Enermax, Seasonic, RX corsair, 800+ evga
Ram: you did good with the 1866
CPU: your choice
don't listen to those memeing spergs
Although I'd go for the i5 version since it's almost the same as an i7 but without hyperthreading
Unless you are going to use programs that actually use it
Gigabyte ATX DDR3 LGA 1150 SATA DIMM 6Gb/s Motherboard
Intel Core i5-4590 BX80646I54590 Processor (6M Cache, 3.3 GHz)
I want to upgrade my graphics card from my r9 390 to the 390x or gtx 980 in a year can my motherboard do it or would I be bottle necking it?
this was my first build so I am not sure how to tell if I will bottle neck it or not
Does anyone here know any news about Nvidias new Pascal cards?
I remember reading that the GTX 1000s will be out this year but nvidia is super hush about it.
I cant decide if I should wait, or break down and buy either a 970 or a 980ti given that I am getting either the Rift or Vive this year (March Rift preorder here)
Now. I own a AMD R9 280X atm and its the only part I need to replace.
Looking to buy a laptop with nvidia gtx 970m, so far cheapest one I found is http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX59268 for 1599 cad is there any cheaper one or better one for a little bit more?
Looks good. Built a similar system about a year ago. CX Corsair is p. shit though.
Also monitor is p. shit calibration out of the box.
