Yea in the UK on BT they redirect all searches to Yahoo! if the domain isn't recognised.
Its shit and hard coded DNS in the router so have edited my local DNS.

My ISP is really small and the DNS goes down frequently, so i just use Google DNS and dodge 95% of the problems.

Just try it and if it doesn't feel faster, swap back.
