not better look up SEVERAL benchmarks, dont start cherry picking shit.
390 draws a lot of power and gets very hot and loud, some one us prefer silent cards.
the price also isnt the same, the 390 costs about 50$ more.

Though at the end how does the GTX 970 compare to my old AMD Radeon 5700 series which fried a few days ago? I haven't upgraded my GPU since about 2009 when the 5700 was brand new.
