Come on man. Even if this is bait I want to help you out here.

Dont go with an A4 because you'll kick yourself in the butt. Either buy a used thinkpad w510 for $300 and buy a couple of backup components (RAM, battery, etc) or get something with an A8 or A10 instead. It is possible for that price.
