TL;DR: I want the above Pic as my OS
Install Ubuntu Gnome
then install the arc theme
Fedora is gnome's dev OS, but the default font config is shit because of the whole sub-pixel patent thing.
You can fix it, but it's just an extra step
Rice it: https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/GNU/Linux_ricing
>KDE Plasma 5
Those do not require ricing but the only good desktop is a customized desktop.
We always have like 3 desktop threads up and 1 stupid questions thread so you wont have problems asking.

Cinnamon, Gnome3 with themes
Most of the really good looking desktops in the desktop threads run Arch. It takes some work and it's not for beginners, but you can get a really nice looking OS out of it.
>some flat icon theme (Go for ultra-flat-icons)
You do not need any specific distro for this
If you really want an advice since you are too new, install Ubuntu GNOME and the themes stated above
Although I am more of a KDE person myself
Do not fall for this meme unless you have all the time of the world
What does it have to do with KDE, my nigger?
>best linux distro
pic related, best OSX port so far
Just install antergos.. it comes with an easy2use installer and you'll be able to choose between a bunch of stuff... The theme can be found in the antergos repo...
sudo pacman -S gtk-theme-arc
It really is that simple
