It's a good quality IPS panel. There's not much to say about it.
Don't let the 8ms response time put you off. The input lag is actually very good for an IPS panel.

It comes factory calibrated and it's very accurate.

My unit's backlight uniformity (not backlight bleed) is not the best. The middle portion of the screen is a bit brighter than the rest of the screen, but it's really only noticeable when displaying solid colors and even then it's not that bad at all. It's a very common thing with almost any monitor, so I wouldn't really call it a big issue. There's no dirty screen effect at all and grey uniformity is great.

That's the only complaint I have. Everything else is above average. Great color reproduction, decent contrast on low brightness level (I have it at 20%, it's at 75% by default which is way too bright) and very good response time.

Exactly that one. Three of them. The power button is shit and the screens have an annoying tendency to tilt, which means adjacent screens don't line up correctly; but except for these two issue these are great screens.

A 40 in 4k VA panel.
Only downside is it ghosts a tiny bit, I've taken advantage of this by making a flying ghost program that flies around my screen all day and bounces off the sides.

U2312HM and U2414H

Got U2312 as main monitor years ago. I thought man, these IPS panels are awesome. It's the IPS, right? Any IPS is fine.
So, when I got the money to replace my second monitor, I went for a LG 24MP47HQ-P. I figured i shouldn't have to pay €200 for a monitor now that I know I just need the same panel. Man, it was ugly. Thankfully I could sell it off with a little loss, and I took the walk of shame back to the store to get a U2414H.

Just picked this up last week. Quite happy with it considering I upgraded from a Dell U2211H.

Blacklight bleed hasn't been a concern for me since:
1) They've had like two batch updates since to improve the quality.
2) I'm always in a well lit room, so any backlight bleed is made even less noticeable.

Dell U2515H
Perfect size, great looks, wonderful color
I'll never understand the retards that don't get an IPS display because it has a slightly higher response rate when in the end it doesn't even matter. 1 vs 7 isn't a noticeable difference at all.
>>
>>52376478
IPS have a lot of non-linear input lag. Its impossible to really anticipate things in some super fast paced games when the frames are blurring in some places.

Its not about reacting, its about anticipating frame windows.

I don't really care. I use a monitor with an absurdly high response time.
>>
>>52367439
>benq xl2411z

this

i love it. replaced my old dell 244in ips from 2010.

color isn't as great but the color is good enough, 144hz refresh rate, and pwm free backlight makes up for it and i would rather have higher refresh rate and pwm free backlight than better color. $278 its a great budget monitor.

i still have my 27in imac if i ever need best possible color and contrast ratios.

>Qnix 1440p PLS 96Hz
>NEC PA272 1440p IPS

Both are pretty great, but nigger rigging the overclock on this Qnix has always been a pain in the ass. It will often break with driver updates, have to repatch the drivers every time, etc. Plus DVI is rapidly on the way out and probably won't even be on the next gen cards. For $250 though it was absolutely worth it.

Probably going to wait for new freesync monitors with HDR to upgrade the qnix

>>
>>52385694

The only thing I'd change it for is an OLED display if those ever become available at a reasonable price, or for a newer and better S-PVA panel monitor, IPS and TN can fuck off.

Exactly. Depiste needing a lot of horse power to run it, it would like nice. Something tells me ASUS or BenQ will do/try it before anyone else
