Will the GTX 980 Ti just end up getting gimped like the 780 Ti when the Pascal cards come out?

Poorfag here, I can't wait for it to happen, and all the richfags will begin to dump the GTX 980 for cheap.
>>
>>52362599
This will be a pretty funny time. Watching all these 970, 980, 980ti fags getting btfo
>>
>>52362599
better buy a Titan X now
>>
>>52363194
Not OP, but I've already got 2 Titan X's and if i don't sell them and get a pascal card this year then I'll definitely buy a 3rd one for under 300 USD.
>>
>>52362599
>gimped like the 780 Ti

780 Ti is not gimped, my friend.

It's basically a 970 but with 3gb (so almost literally a 970).
>>
>>52363255
Are you new to the graphics card market? Titan Xs and 980TIs won't go under $400 used any time soon.
>>
>>52362599
Nah it's just the lies amd users make up to feel better about their poor choices.
>>
>>52363898
They're already under 6, they'll easily drop a lot more when pascal hits

I will just sell my 970 and buy a 1070.
>>
Planning to sell my 980ti and upgrade anyway.
>>
>>52363262>>52363989
Yup...
>>
>>52363989

Just like the lies Nvidia users make up to feel better about their way too expensive choices and supporting anti-consumer practices?
>>
>>52362599
Are you 5? Was this babby's first video card? GPUs are supposed to be replaced yearly. Normally your 980 would have been trash-level a year ago. Thank TSMC's failed production process for keeping it on life support this much longer.
>>
>People think that the ones that own 980tis now won't own 1080tis in the future
Fucking poor people logic.
>>
>>52365738
this^

I got 2 GTX 980's when they came out, this is one of the longest periods I've had one of the best cards on the market. The 900 series was a great time to buy
>>
>>52365500
>don't buy the best because they're anti-consumer! they won't even develop for my amd cards!
