I fell into the meme. Now i can't go back.
>Holy shit, is German the easiest language in existence or what?
German and English are both germanic languages, they have common grammar and syntax and the spelling and/or pronunciation of words is often similar. The similarities between them are not a coincidence.
If you know any other germanic language you should be able to learn german eventually you mainly just need to know the vocab.
All those winbabbies using ubuntu/mint trash.
/g/ is dead.
>use linux exclusively
>applying for internships
>place asks me to take some aptitude test
>must take pc compatibility test before you take test
No potential internship is worth installing windows, flash shit and java for.
>implying arch/gentoo are hard to setup
>using outdated botnet distros without a reason
How about going back to /r/Windows?
The Amazon plugin which is bundled with Ubuntu, but not a part of the base Unity software. People who say Unity is a botnet are low iq niggers and can have their opinions safely discarded
Other than /g/ being shitposters?
Unity is a bit of a hog, not a problem for most comps these days but it made my Chromebook run like treacle, xfce and i3 are smooth as hot butter. Also /g/ hates on *buntu because of the Amazon stats crap, which can be turned off. I dislike Ubuntu for both of those reasons, but it's not exactly the anti-christ.
That is a shitposting bot. A guy on /g/ created it a few days ago and it... still has some work to be done on how it structures sentences.
But it looks promising. We're hoping we can put 200 Australians out of work by 2017.
I have installed arch several times the traditional way. It's pointless. A distribution that basically is arch, looks good OOTB, is immediately usable, AND has an installer is obviously a much more logical choice for someone that isn't a NEET desktop ricer
Windows 7, looking into ricing or changing the way this thing looks.
My graphics card won't work with any distro :'c
Also windows 7
Toshiba's lack of linux drivers means I can't feasibly run linux on it :'c
>All the other computers in my house
OpenSUSE, with Cinnamon on the one the normies use
spotted the "I take pride in the ability to install arch linux." I've installed arch linux countless amounts of time, and I even run it on a free of my systems, but I don't brag about being able to read instructions. That's not something to brag about, frankly.
Xubuntu on my laptop.
Ubuntu on my desktop.
Everyone who says Ubuntu spyware is the reason they don't install it is retarded. It is open source and you can turn it off forever with one command.
Mint 17.3 here. Cinnamon edition.
>All those winbabbies
All those assumptions on your part.
Been using desktop Linux since 2008, and have gone from Debian to Gentoo, back to Debian and now to Mint. Cinnamon is no dwm but it can be pretty comfy imo, and with 16GB of RAM on my laptop I ran out of fucks to give about resource usage.
>Antergos is the superior Arch
>Antergosbabbies actually believes this
people wonder why the entire gnulinux community hates Arch users and its because of posts like these.
pic related. Don't fall for the Arch Meme
